Did you played the Dead? I think there is a bug to build pionneers. Even if you have more than 30 people it is often grayed out and say "Not enough population". It took me ages to build just two of them. Even with 120+ population I could not build a third pioneer.

Hm, and this is the reason you give why a moving star base is not an advantage? Because loosing a few people could not be that problem?
Don't take me wrong - I know that the planet itself is safe with the governors option but not the population - for me it's a matter of responsibility . From a pure technical view it seems to be enough to only safe the planet but on the other side your income decreases also. And all of this is also true for the Vassari. About the Advent: Yes, I think their star bases are not that bad because of the mass of strike crafts but that's only a part and potential of a base. And you c
With that tactic you can't save your population.
Yes, but that's not the point. We are talking about that a moving star base is a huge advantage compared with a not moving one. Maybe it
your OP question could also have been asked of basic defense turrets (gauss, beam, missile) you cant move your basic turrets, so how do you get around the enemy fleet being able to evade? well, you just have to put them in the right place and hope for the best
You can build only one starbase but a full load of defense turrets. Only if you build all turrets at the same spot it is the same problem
I'm having similar problem. I can see stickies but no regular threads in some sections of Sins forums. For example no threads listed in General and Modding but I can see threads in Multiplayer Organization and Sins news.
Same here. And it is slow, extremly slow.
Uhm, I forgot to thank you for that hint! [e digicons][/e] Thanks, that's it after what I was looking for!

That's strange - a few minutes ago my Impulse client patched GC2: Dreadlords to version 1.53.136. But TofA is still 1.96.027 - if you take a look to the news youl will find a hint that v2.00 can be downloaded via Impulse-client ...
That's a (the) problem - it is only a button called "Tune XP" - black box function! I hoped anybody knows which are the needed registry entries or something else?! Greetings Seik
