Why not during install ask the question for this user or all users/ I know some programs already ask this question.

OMG, you mean there are people out there in the cyber world that are not enamored of WB and other fantastic Stardock products. How dare they!!!! Say it ain't so Dog
Ditto GMC, I also stated this in a private e-mail to a Mod. Give options and comparisons so user can determine what is best for their needs and wants.
Ditto GMC2
Right now how many do you know that have have a W8 OEM machine, I think this point is moot right now. I had a triple or quadruple machine one it ran W7, Vista, Linux Zorin and XP virtual machine. I found all I did with vista, linux and XP was update them weekly, never used them on a day to day basis. I only run one OS currently that is W7 64 bit on my machine and laptop, I have a vista machine connected to my 42 inch LG TV in living room so I can watch movies
For all you folks that are in love with partitioning software this link will show you how to set up windows 8 in a dual boot configuration, it is applicale to this thread as it is from easus http://www.partition-tool.com/resource/windows-8-partition-manager/dual-boot-windows-7-and-windows-8.htm?utm_source=BenchmarkEmail&utm_campaign=Windows_8___7_dual_boot_Copy_Copy_Copy&utm_medium=email
I like dark or the warm colours of the light spectrum, cold colors such as blue are a turn off.
""I have been looking into partners so we can possibly have some giveaways, but if it's going to be an issue then I can just X that idea now."" If you are going to get touchy feely about the comments than I guess you better nix it. Jeeeeze what a thin skin group of Mods.
Just be upfront, stating that you are in a partnership, in which both sides receive something no matter what the something is, I never said anyone received a kickback, it just made me wonder.
No it is not all I said it makes me wonder, me doth think you protest to much
I never said it was not great or reliable, I just said I have no need for it. If I ever needed a partition, and yes I have played around with partitions. I find the native one in W7 is all I need. However I sometimes wonder when I see something like this is the greatest and you really need it if the Original poster is not shilling for the software. here is a good free one so you can save a few dollars. It is always great to have other options <a href="http://www
The recovery partition will do you no good if the whole drive is borked. This is why you make images to another distint inernal/external hard drive or cd/dvd discs of your drive or partition or files
I have no need for it as do not partition drives, I have 4 internal drives 2 750 gig, two 1.5 TB. I have 6 External hard drives, one 2 TB, 2 1 TB, One 250 gig, One 160 Gig, and one 500 gig. alond with numerous flash drives and various other cards of different sizes.
If he installed it using impulse, he has to uninstall it through Impluse, try Windows Control Panel (Programs & Features) uninstall option. as the program and features will tell him that it must be uninstalled using impulse. I know this fr4om experience
Install Impulse again and uninstall through Impulse. Then re-install using the Stardock store. This is what I had to do.
Very nice looking
It looks nice, I am not a fan of a lot of Blue, it is OK as a minor accent color. I prefer the warmer colors of the light spectrum
The only reason I am using Impulse/game-stop is if I need to install an archived item. I have uninstalled all my Stardock programs and reinstalled them using the Stardock store. The reason for this is if you uninstall Impulse then try to use the uninstall in W7 programs and features it will tell you that impulse is needed to uninstall the program .
Problem is now resolved everything is as it should be.
I OPUS 9 I do not loose my mouse Pointer and I run 7.3 WB
Here is my OPOUS 9 and windows explorer as you can see I do not see any problems
I will wait, as usual with any beta there may or may not be major bugs. Waiting to see if any problems are posted in the forum is for me the best way to see if it works as advertised.
I sent and e-mail to support yesterday, no reply as of yet. I sent a follow up to Sales today will wait and see. I know at time SD is slow in responding to items posted or e-mailed.
I found, I had to have Impulse installed to uninstall some items using control panel add program features, I uninstalled all my Stardock programs then re-installed them using the stardock store https://store.stardock.com/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=/myaccount/products I still have Impulse/GameStop running. It is still needed to install any archived items in the event of a major problem which I do not for foresee.
Found answer Looked at my Laptop. I had to place a shortcut to Desktopx in C:\user\appdata\roaming\microsoft\windows\startmenu\programs everything is now fine
