It happens on both my laptop and my home machine if I use another skin other than Windows Areo Paint Shop Pro will not run the laptop has Nivida drivers for 1 6150 intergrated video chip. My home machine is an ATI X1800xt with latest drivers. Hi folksI f I run any skin other than Windows Aero and I try to run Paint Shop Pro X from Corel Paint Shop Pro fails to run. I have tried this on two different machines runnning Vista Home Premium edition. I do not use Paint Shop Pro that much so I just have to Remember to go over to the Windows Aero skin to use it. Is any one going to be doing skins like Windows Areo?
Everything is now fine I loaded webblinds as a seperate program. The Windows blinds tab is now in appearance. Web and Windows blind programs now function correctly Thanks for pointing me in the right direction to solve problem. A complete unistall of Stardock programs and star dock central and a re-install did the trick
Ok Uninstall of Sall loaded programs and stardock central cured problem. Where do I get webblinds I can install it as a individual program. Howerever it is not listed as a availiable program to download the object desktop page
I did a complete clean install of the C drive; Formatted and installed everything again from scratch. There is NO Windows Blinds Button under the appearance tab. Yes I nstalled everything through stardock centeral. The onlything I did not install through stardock centeral was Webblinds which was not there.
When I go to desktop properrties appeaance I am only get XP style and Windows XP Classic Properties. I did a clean install recently. In the past it would the skins different styles in under appearance. I am wondering why I know longer get this
I get everything now I first do a download and save then install ad evrythisn then seems to work OK
OK Now what is causig the fact that when it downloads automtically ad runs it does ot install properly it comes up as a widow classic versiop on some skins
When I download some skins such as TERRESTRIAL it shows up click on to install this skin I click and what happens is windows classic is installed instead and does not show up in windows configuration when I click on the refresh list. It does not do this to every skin I download. I would also like to know why when I download it does not give me the option to save the skin downloads and is installed.

When I download windows blinds I usually download it to open however it does not open it is downloaded as zip file I can than open it using download from disk to get it work. Earlier versions used to download and install right away. why does not the latest version do this. I have a program called Longhorn clock version 162.b (Google Search) it is a replacement clock for XP and it allows you to change the start button. I was wondering where in the suites, and or window blinds do you find the start button BMP file. Another suggestion would be to have some one just make various start buttons so people who have this clock could change the start button to something they like.
Yes I can install the skin. I have to use install from disk. I then browse to where the Zipped file is stored in the Windowows Temp folder which is where the folder is sored when I try to open it via the internnet. The earlier versions 4.3 and earlier always used to open and install the skin or theme if you used open instead of save to disk

When ever I change skins and I position the cursor over an Icon I do not get the background and text that is supposed to come with that Skin I usually get a dark blue background and a dark text. My work around for this is to a skin such as cell or brim white make it the skin then change to the skin I want such as PUP and then it keeps the background and text of the old skin Grey with Black text.
