MS Paint is really acting up in the latest release of WB , when I start the program, and then maximize the window, it feels like someone is holding down a turbo button on a game pad, and it rapidly goes through maximize, minimize , maximize minimize, it wont stop and I cant get control of it to force a closure of the program, I have to force the computer to shut down with the power button, and then reboot. Excluding this app is not working either. Ive noticed similar behavior in the Windows B

I use Microsoft Security Essentials, and it runs great. Its hardly noticeable at all and it silently updates in the background with control over when it updates or not.
So i had this crazy little game in my head. You download a theme, and you suggest a theme, Then that person who replys next has to look at the suggested theme, and then suggest one for something else. Sort of the grab a penny, give a penny theory, or so to speak. :)
You can also purchase the latest version of Windowblinds any bypass this Windows 7 Starter limitation ;)
Thanks to Stardock's new skin texture ability, I can tweak the themes to what I really want. Below is my modification of Toronto Maple Leafs MyColors theme , just by adding a custom texture to the skin!
Works great. I like that on XP i can assign textures to the taskbars.
If it makes anyone feel any better I have been using a Dynex Wireless G Router for 4 years now and have not had any problems. This was when it was on sale at Best Buy for $24.99 Who knows how much it costs now.
Dupe threads peeps... https://forums.wincustomize.com/374365
You need Theme manager to change the backgrounds on Windows 7 Starter. Hint : Add C:\Windows to the wallpaper directory for all the wallpapers from all international versions of Windows :)
Im going to be at CES 2010 on Saturday.
Im happy this thread came up here. I just got a eMachines em250 netbook from Walmart today and got all the proggies needed. Well I installed all my purchased My Colors themes and it works perfectly although, some areas appear black like around the start menu (probably for lack of transparency reasons) But other then this everyone works rightv with Windows 7 Starter! Wanted to wish everyone at Stardock, a wonderful holiday vacation for the employees and their families. You guys deserve this break for the hard work you bring us with all these fantastic customization applications.
Today I came across this ad on the site: Then when you mouse over, you get this: I have no problems with these ads, but didnt know they were becoming mo
wb.......now get skinning.....
Well I dont skin, I enjoy the wonderful pieces of work that the community submits for the public to download. I must say Vampothika, your skins have always been on my watch list and they really are different from others I have seen.
I am using the RIP WinCustomize Suite. I like it alot.
With all this discontinuation crap about Windows XP , (Lucky me , my new computer is a Nettop and I am going to keep it for as long as I can) What is Stardock's commitment to continuing software support for XP, even when Microsoft discontinues it for good? Will Stardock eventually stop writing customization tools for XP?
The odd looking start menu button problem can be solved by selecting " Use small icons " which will reduce their size to what they were in Window Vista/ XP
From medical issues , to financial issues, I am finally stable , back on my feet again. And thanks to Windows 7 , This allows Stardock to really show what their company is made of. They never cease to amaze me as they are always working hard to push the envelope of technology. Since the release of Window Blinds 7.0 , its been a great experience. Aero texture frames, Aero Colors , etc, its very exciting to see. And the Beta's of ODNT apps like Desktop X and others. Looks cool! I would have spent

Hmmm. Im encountering similar on Windows 7 HP 32bit , except its not skinning the titlebars on the music theme.
I did a clean installation of Windows 7, grabbed the Diamond Theme from http://mycolors.stardock.com and installed it. It applied correctly, which I have not seem of this theme in ages.
For those who think Object Desktop is a ripoff, know this, Its worth every penny, and if you add the amount of themes you get on a yearly basis it seems like those themes pay for the subscription themselves. Stardock continues to give us quality themes that make our computing lives much funner to live.
