Some preview pictures would be nice... [e digicons][/e]
This is awesome News! cant wait. If its available on Steam preordering now. If not, will not get it until it is, same like GC4.
It is usually 1 year from the release.
If there are people who are against RTS combat style. There is always auto resolve button.... duh. Complainers.
Just imagine how MUCH better this game could be if we had some nicely made combat system. Space and ground. To me, this would be the best 4X Space Strategy game ever. All the hours spend on designing your ship can be seen in all the glory exchanging blows with enemy fleet.
Just remember that there was a topic about DLC and possibly new / improved space combat that will come with it. Is this still on and what is the possible release. Or is this something that is planned further in the future or not at all. Thanks for any info.
So I will have to wait a year to get it on Steam? Fine, I will wait. Most of the bugs will be removed by then and some nice DLC's will be added as well.
During build of a ship in GC3, messing with more complex and simpler ship parts. I thought it would be cool if you could unlock more futuristic ship parts with research. One can start with simple parts, let's say ship main parts will have to be spinning to generate artificial gravity, while more advanced parts will will not need it. Just a thought.
How will the turn timing be handled in GC4? I'm playing GC3 right now, turn 300 and the game is basically unplayable. The amount of time for each turn brakes the game, unfortunately.
Hmmm that is an interesting question. I will have to see the alternative to battle viewer before deciding. On the other hand, what is the point of ship building, spending hours playing with components when you can't even see it the ship you just build?
Thanks for letting me know. I never used Epic and never will, what have they done with bribing for all the exclusives just pissed me off. Now I have one more reason to not deal with them. Just hope Gal. Civ. 4 will not be Epic exclusive.
What about the planet invasions, how will this work? Will star bases be able to defend planets?
Any chance for some preview pics? [e digicons][/e]
For GC4. Besides the obvious, space battles, invasions, better graphics etc. Two more things hope GC4 improves upon. Game doesn't gets boring once you gain upper hand (mop up of remaining civs). Increasing difficulty levels doesn't just gives AI start ahead of the player.
AWESOME news. I think I played GC3 to death. Is there a time frame for possible release? [e digicons][/e]
was about to ask same question. As I don't see any updates on GC3.
Hmmm, what map size are you playing? I'm playing on Gigantic with all civs available, including from the DLC's. At most my wait is about 5 to 8 seconds between the turns. Turn 388.
Yeap Eve Online. But they depicts pretty close what I was thinking how the battles should look real time. Now add some strategy to them and you have a winner.
Maybe GC4 then? Sorry, slow day in the office. [e digicons][/e] Images taken from online multiplayer game. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us
What about this statement, will this be implemented in 4.0? #9 Visual overhaul to fleet battles (and do #4)
Just wondering, when will there be another update or expansion released? What is planned for this year.
Interesting Question, But I would rather ask what will happen with GC3 in near future. Are there any DLC's planned, updates, etc??
Maybe I had a mod installed, can't remember now.
Did I just confused games because I think that last time I played Sins there were more than 3 factions to add to the game play. I fired the game again yesterday and to my surprise there are only 3 factions to choose from?
