I looked in the skins provided by WMP10 and could not find any place that listens for the Alt+1/2/3 keys (50%, 100%, 200% zoom for movies) And the corporate skin seems to be embedded in some obscure place of the OS. Anybody help me with this puzzle? Thanks
OK, in my frustration, I installed WB on another machine, same OS, WinXP SP2 Hell, the command prompt can be skinned! It's the same skin. This is getting weird....
I did a reformat of the harddrive and reinstalled Windows XP SP2 But alas, WB still refuses to skin the command prompt.... Missing dll?
I'm able to skin the console in 4.4 but somehow it broke when I upgraded to 4.5.... then I revert back to 4.4 and it remain broken! I'm lost man.....
Previously in WB 4.4, I'm able to skin the console windows by enabling the option. Yesterday, I upgraded to WB4.5 and the consoles are no longer skinned, even with that same option checked. Rebooted a few times, but to no avail.... Anyone know what's going on?
I got PSP8, just bought PSP9.... And OpenOffice's Draw tool for vectors... PSP9/8's vector tools lack certain VERY basic stuff (union, subtract, intersect) and those guys at Corel/Jasc don't seem interested in adding the features.
I find iCal on the Mac is much easier to use.... Sunbird gets klunky, just like a windows application..... maybe someone will come up with a theme that way improves the user interface over the stock one..... You can have flashy graphics, but if the interface sucks, nobody's gonna use it...
some ISP use proxy servers that filter out the x-forwarded-for header so every user will appear to have the same IP address... I guess it's too bad.... blame the ISP
I just found that Animation Shop (comes with PSP) is able to do WB-compatible progress animations now I don't have to buy GIF Movie Gear
but windows task bar can already do "Cascade Windows", "Tile Windows Horizontally", "Tile Windows Vertically", "Show Desktop" and "Undo Cascade/Tile/Minimize All" ..... Expose looked useful on a Mac, because the Mac never had a taskbar OK, so the animations are cool... but whatever
if I've improved on my theme I should edit the one I've uploaded before? I mean, if I get bad comments on my first attempt, then somehow improved drastically, will others who read the comments like go "wtf is wrong with the reviewers?!" or vice versa, I submit a cool theme, getting rave reviews, then later I replaced the theme with a horrid one..... won't they go "WTF?!" too? <img src
what can Expose do that can't be done with windows' taskbar? The functional aspect, that is. I don't really care for fancy special effects that serve no purpose
I believe PSP is to Photoshop what trueSpace is to 3DS MAX hell, I like AutoCAD, so whatever!
i see.... how about using public domain cliparts?
to what extent can something be modified to not resemble the original? for my toolbar icons, I used DogmaX's (it came with WB) icons outline.... but I used my own gradient color and added 3d effects... It's still shaped like the original though....
Sometimes when running some applications that use directX (or OpenGL?), the taskbar might lose that "always on top" property. Dunno why.... Mostly happens to me after playing a 3D game... It's usually fixed when I hit the Windows key and click on the taskbar to focus it....
Xara X I'm a vector convert, although I use PSP8 to touch up little things, could have used Paint, but I've already bought PSP8 No more gigantic raster graphics files! I love vectors!
