Hi, is anyone else having an issue with objectdock staying zoomed even though the mouse is nowhere near the dock? It seems to happen quite regularly to me. OD 2.20.0.862 windows 10 64bit

Here's mine. I'm on the lookout for a system tray/notification area replacement though :(
hmmm, that's no good, I'm using 7 64bit.
Does anyone know of a way to get windows desktop icons to have coloured lables around the text? I'm sure I've seen it done in the past, but I can't remember how or where :(
I have recently reinstalled windows on my machine, so I had to start customizing it again :P I have the following - But as you can see, as the taskbar is hidden, I no longer have a system tray. Does anyone know of any way I can add one using either ObjectDock, RocketDock or windows sidebar, or any free something that would allow me to have a system tray again?
Hi, I was wondering if there are any dock applications that can sit in front of the taskbar like in the following mockup? http://jurcheck.deviantart.com/art/Windows-Seven-7-Concept-89403313 From what I understand, most docks will sit either ab
Does anyone know the anyone has ported the Ubuntu New Wave theme to WB? It's a nice clean theme, which I think looks quite good (for a ubuntu theme). http://www.bitburners.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/jaunty_new_wave.png <
OK, A couple of times in the past few days, my wonderful computer has taken it upon itself to remove my icon dragging privileges. All of a sudden I have found myself unable to drag ANY icons on my system, not even dragging a single file out of winrar to my desktop. Yet another wonderful 'feature' of Windows7 no doubt. So...<b
OK, here goes. MY girlfriend is having roblems with FTP, she can access her ftp thingy and she can upload files, however she can not download files, it keeps timing out when she tries. This problem only happens at home and it works fine everywhere else (work, other peoples houses etc.) so im guessing something is set wrong on our router maybe? Can anyone help?
Thanks guys, its all fixed!! [e digicons]5*[/e] I've never had to activate windows before, usually oem versions 'just work'.
OK, I have been given a laptop to fix, but the was a mess so I decided to reinstall windows. The only cd I have is the one that came with my own laptop, so I tried it. It installed fine, but it never asked me for a key during the install (which I have, it is printed on a sticker on the underside of the laptop). However, windows keeps telling me i need to register it. So my question is, is it 'safe' to register windows even though a different cd was used to install it? or will it just
I've tried Thoosje sidebar, Desktop sidebar, Google sidebar, I even tried the vista sidebar that someone ported/hacked to xp. Neither of them will reserve their own screen space. I have tried adjusting the display settings in each of them, but like I said, the only thing that works is changing my screen resolution, which I really don't want to do every time I start windows.
This is going to be difficult to word... Quite recently, it seems that nothing is able to restrict the area of my desktop. That is, I have tried a veriety of sidebars and they fail to reserve their part of the screen, maximized windows no longer maximize to their edge, but rather fully under or over them :( . The only way I can remedy the problem, is to switch resolution a couple of times, which is quite irritating. I am using XP home with sp3, I also have running object dock (free vers

OK, if this is in the wrong section, sorry, if not, [e digicons]:D[/e] . After downloading the demo/beta/whatever of Windows7, I hit a wonderful obstickle. My laptop does not have drivers for it, nor could I find any for vista (I assume vista ones would work). I have an HP Pavilion dv1000 running the xphome that came with it. I tried installing the xp (only)drivers from the hp site, but they refused to work, insisting that I can not run them on a non-xp system [e dig
Just what I need, my windows CD came in a stupid paper wallet.
If anyone cares, i got the following reply from Stardock when i asked about it...
Hello, At this time, there is no new version of BootSkin in active development. Although we may release a newer version in the future, there are no definite plans to do so at this time.
Which to me says they have better things to do than a new version of bootskin, so, there you go.
Shame about that. I don't like idea of windows crashing and having no way of knowing, sitting ages waiting for the screen to change but nothing happening... jafo - give it a try, the worst that could happen is that it doesn't work...
Yes but bootskin2 was going to fix that, i'm fairly sure it got accidentaly leaked, which does offer evidence that it was near completion.
What ever happend to bootskin 2? I was so looking forward to having a hi-res hi-color boot screen, but it never came about. Does anyone know are there still plans to release it?
XP and rebooted. It seems to be ok besides that though, skins loading ok etc. just no show in display properties.
This is an odd one, having just installed wb6.02 on my computer, it does not show the wb button in the display propertise dialog. Neither does it list any of the skins in the style list. Anyone got any ideas?
I think ye olde windowblinds did it, back in version 3.x I think. But they took it out.
That seems to be the one, although the icon is now different. Thankyou.
I'm looking for a specific email gadget I've seen. The problem is, I don't know what it is called. The only picture of it I can find isn't very good either. Can anyone help?
