From what i gathered...Society will be broken into segments of a few months each...and at the end of the segment, the server is reset and we all start from scratch. So say you came in mid-way...consider the remaining time in the current segment as a learning time. YOu could get used to waht your doing and then when the new segment starts your set

I would imagine that in this case, say there are certain types of Socians...one way to do this is by selecting which type of player you are at the beginning of the game and from there, if you login often, your Socians then rely on your help greatly, meaning that your military may not perform as well because they require at least 'some' form of guidance while attacking or being attacked. But by logging in often, your Socians are work a bit faster once

Real weather woudl be great, but then, 100 days of sun and no rain woudl get boring, though that would add to the realism, meaning we woudl have to make sure the irrigation systems are working properly so that our socians are getting water. Either way...i woudl love to beta test this...so here's to hoping that all of us little guys interested in the game can get in. On a side note, i see that you said 'ready to ship'...i thought this was go

I have a baseline Dell and that means built in graphics. I added a stick of 256 MB of RAM and now i have 512 MB total...well, really its 448 MB, because 64 MB is alloted to my built in graphics...but my CPU is a 2.2 Ghz (celeron ) but at least it does the job. I too would like to beta test this game and seeing as how im in college, i have plenty of time Im familiar with online games of this sort (i play Utopia, if anyone has heard of it...though its dying a slow death and Society is looking more attractive each day). So how will the beta work, and perhaps...if its possible, when will the beta begin?

Hey Elessart! A deal for you. If you sit in front of your Web Cam and read Adam Smith's "Wealth of Nations" to me for 2 hours -- I will pay for your subscription. THIS IS NOT A JOKE!. Easiest $20 you'll ever make AND it's going to a good cause to boot. Also it's a damn fine read. Hell I won't even ask you to dress up!<

Im a college student on a strict budget. Sadly, $19.95 for being able to download probably 1 or 2 premium skins and then continued use for the rest of the year and free skins is a bit much for me, personally. That $19.95 could go towards my electricity bill or even pay for my phone bill (vonage). Could i suggest possibly a $5 subscription, with perhaps features such as: 1. Subscribers will be able to select their own "skin" for the sit

I was the one who said MS had to buy their way into the market, and i said that because they specifically went out and bought out game devlopment companies to make their games. Yes, in the end, just about all companies buy their way in...but i would still choose Sony over MS. And yes, i have owned

Im a fan of Sony...more so because i just feel the MS had to buy its way into the gaming market rather then bring anything innovative. I mean, yes, the Xbox is better thne the PS2 in terms of graphics and CPU, but they came out a year or so later then the PS2. Moving on, im just not really impressed with anything the XB360 has aside from Gears of War. I'll wait for the PS3. Which has true backwards compatibility so that i dont have to drop even mor

Next you'll be telling us that they can track our every movement just from our mobile phones... You should read Dan Brown's Digital Fortress (author of The Da Vinci Code etc) you'd love that<

I love this skin, but it lacks the same feel and look in terms of folders, there's no side bar with options:( I woul dlove to see this skin updated to the newest version of Windowblinds (4.51 i think?). And if at all possible, could there be a few variations in color? Perhaps a blue, black, red, green, white, silver...having a few other colors for the skin would be nice. Hope this hasnt been posted recently...thanks for listening <img src="http://i

Im using FireFox 1.02 and i play POGO all the time. I have a couple problems here and there with some of the windows, but it works fine fust about every time. I'd suggest uninstalling java and firefox. Then go get firefox. install it again, make sure you deleted the folders for each that way its a fresh start. once you have firefox installed, go to POGO. it'll prompt you for a plugin (java). download and install java as it tells you to, and from
