I wan't it to look more like this Instead of this: (The weird purple/black part of the start panel is the bliss wallpaper)
I wan't it to be transparent, just not the whole image. Just like the pearlthane skin for 2b 4.5.
I'm working on a new wb skin, and I was wondering how the alpha blending works. If I select the type of blending I wan't, the whole image gets transparent instead of the part I want:

Well, my dad has a laptop which he uses for various domains (home/work). What he wants is the original xp login screen, and not the dropdown selection for user, domain, and password. For an example of what the computer's problem is, look below: This is my shutdown dialog. I would like to make it the normail xp shutdown dialog. Appreciate any help. <img src="http://i
I would geuess door one. Don't want that goat too close to a Feerrari. Only a guess
Ok, you guys are all wrong... Go back to the start. What was the chance you had the right door? 1 in 3. In two cases out of three you would have picked a goat. That holds true whatever. Then the host helps you out by showing you that one of the other doors definitely has a goat behind it. So, in fact you should always change your choice to the other door that wasn't opened. That way there's a two in three chance that you win. If you think abou
Good job SD, any reason why? Or even better, what is the probability of winning a ferrari?
This riddle/annoying problem, as I'm sure most of you have seen/heard before, is definitely one of my favorite. So, here it is: Imagine you were taking part in a game show. You've won through to the last round, which is a game of chance. There are three doors - all you have to do is to choose which door you want to open - Door 1, Door 2 or Door 3. Behind one door is a Ferrari. Behind each of the other two is a goat. Let's assume that you are n

Well, I posted another icon in the Misc. Icons section the other day. I got an email confirming the moderation of my submission, so I visited the site to make sure. The icon didn't show up in the Misc. Icon list, but the unique link worked ( https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SkinID=205&LibID=39&comments=1 ). Just letting you know a possible site bug

As none of you know I LOVE riddles. Because many of you also may like riddles, I have decided to enact a Weekly Riddle Foundation, asking riddles. This is open to everybody. The person to correctly answer first will get a nice pat on the back. So, here's #1: A ship is sailing in the pacific ocean. Over the side of the ship is a rope ladder. Each rung of t
My family recieve hundreds and hundreds of telemarketing calls every year (typically 2-3 right during dinner). In order to avoid this, I suggested to my family that we sign up for a national do not call list. Debating that this would be a company which leaked our phone number out to the world, I thoroughly read the privacy policy, and found no such scam. On top of that, the site has a suffix of .gov. After about 15 days, the calls started getting rarer
Have a happy Friday everyone! Enjoy the weekend

As I have ventured into attmpting/making almost every type of skin, I hove come to the realm of DesktopX Widgets. I have a couple'a questions: 1) How do I start making a Widget (What program do I use)? 2) What language is used in coding? (I am fluent in VB6, VB.NET, HTML, JavaScript, and a little XML) 3) How do you make standalone widgets? (Example: Adni18's "Live Weather II" https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=284
People here who spend their free time catering to your request for help deserve a little more respect than your giving them. Please, if you have nothing good to say, don't say it at all.
In response to the ./9/ thing, for all of my purposes, which does not include interstellar travel, ./9/ is equal to one. Heck, let it be .00000000......1 less, but for doing my math homework, it really doesn't matter
After thinking about this thread all night long I've come up with the conclusion that the doorknob thing is wrong. "The distance between me and the doorknob can always be cut in half." That statement is completely true, except for the fact that when I'm normally traveling toward the doorknob, I don't cut my distance in half. I travel at a near-constant velocity. If I
