I started a new scenario and got my first ctd ever in over 51 hours of play a few turns in. I have no idea if it's the beta patch or not starting up a save and going to play some more.

Is there any way to control the setup of your armies on the tactical map? Does Guardian Wind (25% vs Dodge) work against magic ranged attacks?

I changed the numbers in the CoreGameEvents, where it says " Fame *** " I changed the *** from what it was (3/50/100/200/400 etc) to where I like it (40/100/180/280/400 etc) 2. This is just for the pre-made heroes, right? They getting an inherent class has both pro's a

Anyway to view all armies in a stack and see their stats?
Any recommended settings ? Difficulty? Production pace? Pacing? Random map? Size ? Load a named map? Any mods ? I started my first game doing a random map. Why did you take away the choice of what type of hero we want when we level? Was this to help the AI ? Another thing I notice is the neutral mobs are very easy to take out am I missing something? In vanilla they are much harder on a easier difficulty setting.
You do not need all the DLC. Simply do 'not' copy the relevant DLC files into the folder when you install it. Do you need all the DLC to play this? I only have map pack and quest pack. Anything I need to do on install other than dump it in to the english folder? Once the game starts up do I have to load the mod like in Civ 5?
I figured it out and feel stupid though part I blame on what I feel is bad game design. I was moving one square at a time based on how I do it in Civ. When you move one square it ends your move no matter how many moves you have left on the battle map.
My first few battles I could move 2 and three with my units. The last I don't know how many battles all my units can only move 1 on the battle map. I first thought it was the snow but now it's doing it in the plains. Can anyone can explain this?
I started up a new random map game and Produce Research works. My other game where it's not working is the scenario Fallen Enchantress. Maybe in the scenario only it's not working. [e digicons]:maybe:[/e]
On the Produce Research issue, have you hovered over the research amount to check what it says? It could be that unrest penalties makes bonus small enough that the display rounds it so it isn't visible.
I have 2.5 research and the produce research says 50% bonus. I should go to 3.7 or so and it stays at 2.5. I even do another turn to make sure it needs a turn to update and nothing changes.
Which heal spell exactly? The Life 2 Heal spell should heal 16 + 2 per life shard, +50% if you have compassion.
The spell is called Heal and in parentheses it says plus 4 per life shard. The spell says it heals for 8 so it should heal for 12 and I only get 8.
When I cast my heal spell that does 8 heal I don't get the 50% bonus from Compassion. When I Build Produce Research in my city I get no research bonus.
