Hmm, too bad...

Hiya all, I tried figuring this out for myself, but I'm not that good at modding, so here goes: I designed a ship ingame which got a little bit out of hand . Initially it was supposed to be a tiny scout. But when it was done I figured it would look better as a colony ship. It was built using Kryo's hull mod so it's not really using any type specific hull. Is there any way to edit some files to make it a cargo type hull
Wow, it looks like you guys used a lot of parts, but whenever I use that much parts half of it tends to disappear. Or is that fixed in 1X?
Hmm, whenever I try to stuck that much stuff on my ships, half of it disappears :S
W000t! All the reviews have been great so far! I also saw a 90 out of 100 at gamespot, great job guys!
It's hard to believe that not many people mentioned this before. But I tend to design a new custom race including ships every game. I find it very annoying having to obsolete all the previous designed ships from other custom races. I play
It's hard to believe that not many people mentioned this before. But I tend to design a new custom race including ships every game. I find it very annoying having to obsolete all the previous designed ships from other custom races. I played one game as normal Drengins and they didn't seem to have the ships I designed as a custom race. So it just seems the game handles the custom races as one race when saving your custom designed ships. It's just silly having to obsolete all sort
How about the ability to rename Stars, and so that it automaticly renames all the planets around them accordingly? It shouldn't be that hard do(though I have no knowledge of such things). It sounds like just a minor tweak that could ease up the naming process of planets significantly...
I have to agree here... I admit that grabbing and dragging is a nice alternative. But no diagonal scrolling is just a needless annoyance that shouldn't be in such a great game. Also keyboard scrolling would be nice...
The Netherlands
No Tactical or Optional Tactical
Steal box? Damn, I should've preordered it in Europe...
Yesterday I read the whole manual. And I think it mentioned something about the ability to steal techs through espionage. So I think it's possible
Thanks, I found them
I did download the tutorials but I can't seem to find them anywhere in the Galciv2 folder... :S Can anyone help?
Hmm, I think I'll play as the Altarians first, they look human but with superpowers The second game I will just create a whole new civ to play with
Uhm, aren't they a bit lowres? They have to stretch to fit my 1280x1024 desktop... They are still nice though
Shipping for all countries outside US is $10, I think. It's still not bad though
I'm also very looking forward to this great game! And strategy game of the year is a very good possibility. But game of the year is probably a bit optimistic, as there are A LOT of FPS-Fanboys out there It will probably be some stupid WW2 shooter that runs away with the honor...
Answer to your first question: Probably not, there is talk of doing it a little sooner to prevent a huge load on the stardock server or something. Answer to your second question: There are 10 races as far as I know. But you can always build your own
You can just build your own kind of terror stars in the ship builder
Well, from the looks of your post your dutch. I am too!! And I just used a creditcard to preorder it directly from stardock. It shouldn't be that much of a problem to get a creditcard nowadays... I can't say for sure because I used my dad's creditcard
Then your order probably didn't get through. But I'm sure Stardock will sort it out for you soon. *Gives politely and embarassed the topic rug back to Spearthrower*
Yeah, I requested a mail with my serials from stardock central. And since I never bought any of their other software I got a mail without any serials. So I guess Peace Phoenix is right, I'll get the serial when they decide I can start to download the game
I preordered and didn't get a serial code yet. I did get an order ID though...
