add a few more media centre options and ill buy this one in a jiffy it looks *much* nicer than the mini itx / etc cases available atm and at quite a good price too - dvi plugs straight into the hdtv, it needs some better sound equipment (how good are those usb 5.1/6.1 sourround sound cards? - any for mac?) also wondering about sound/heat output

some objectbar themesalready do this, although they cannot remove the menu/taskbar thingy from the program so it just looks silly because they double up just try using the classic macpc themes (included in the download) and see how they do it???

ok here is a VERY simple mockup i have done, as you can see it wasnt very thorough but it gets the message across, on the site as it is atm, i like the way all the boxes and stuff seem 'inset' with the inner shadow, and the slight grey instead of white works quite well on my mockup, maybe the light blue is a little too light, and the text colout could be darker than i have it, maybe even black...oh well here: <img src="http://img117

youve got to make sure that the parent also has script enabled, so just click on the properties for the parent, click new script then just close the script window and press ok on the properties one. that should do it

...i did a little bit of research into the are but all i came up with was alot of different windows systray versions of the gmail checker and a .net package of which i have no clue at all about. anyone with the knowledge of .net and how that would translate into dxscripting would probably be able to do it maybe _martin_ or tiggz?

after downloading konfabulator (gasp!) i would have to say that the eye candy is a slight bit more polished for some things - the cpu portal looks quite cool imo (might make a dx version of that one!)- and i like the fact that the widgets are quite hard to mess around with - for the casual end-user who has no intention of developing their own widgets - i have not yet delved into the development part - but im not too savvy on javascript so maybe ill leave that for another time the first

GOOD IDEA !!! yes this is good and a good widget to create that maybe is distributed with dx in later builds would be one that lets you specify all this information in one 'wizard' [like when you set up a program] (at least the global information eg zip, name , (some things could be imported originally from registry as default and changeable by the user)) if we use xml it would also have to be

the only thing is the clock object - that would have to be done in scripts (and yes ...pretty easily too) to get the larger/smaller text for hours but all the clock objects i seem to see are the stardock plugin ones. hey maybe i should try it...

oooh... yes more themes... and, would it be possible to create your own themes? (link to local files the user creates and modifies at their own will - just images or maybe a bit of xml for configuration?) that would be seriously cool & it would reduce the loading times for those who have this feature set up ...and then you''ll have a whole new section - site skins!
