ahh, ok that makes sense. Thanks Kyro - re-downloading for XP so I can take it to the desktop - bring in the heavy guns :-) Wanted it on the laptop so I could play on the move, but alas.....
Thanks for the response Kryo, but no luck. My drivers were from sept 2009, and latest Intel drivers for the 945 chipset win 7 are from 2 oct 2009. Hi there I crash to desktop as soon as I enter a new game after loading screens (when you see your sov in the game map). There is fog of war everywar, and I can see my character, then i CTD. This is on both new campaign and new sandbox game. I have tried updating and using the original download, and all crash in the same way. see files below http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10539
