On Diplomacy: I'd like to see you be able to spend Diplomatic Capital for diplomatic actions you have researched. Kind of like spells. Examples: Push your city / empire border out one additional square Sabotage (destroy) a specific city improvement in an enemy city Take over an enemy city Steal an enemy spell (spellbook) Steal all of an enemy resource Force a cease fire Force a war Assassinate

I pre-ordered on the first day this game became available because I already knew the Stardock team was amazing. But even having said that, the beta and interaction with the Stardock folks has been far beyond my (already inflated) expectations.

Loving 3-C so far. But my goodness the monsters ramp up in difficulty fast. The small people are me surrounded by monsters that are way higher level!

I think the pacing is way too fast. For example, I can research cutting weapons and then 4 turns later have superior cutting weapons... so, the original cutting weapons are outdated before I could have even made a unit equipped with them.

[quote who="Icepick" reply="5" id="2685784"]Ok, here is what I found with the favorites thingy, and it was by accident and after much wailing and gnashing of teeth...click ONCE on the star of the spell you want to add, it will highlight for a second and then looks like it deselects, but it does not. Click on another spell and click back on the original one and you will see that it is now the star for the favorites thingy is selected and it is in your favorites. On a side note:

I've tried adding them to my favorites as well and have still had no luck with casting in Tactical battles.

[quote quoting="post"] Beta 3B introduces the skeleton of tactical battles. Here's the basic concept on how they're supposed to work: Your Combat Speed is translated into action points. We do NOT use your Moves per turn stat (that's supposed to represent endurance and it's not subject to change). The current system is, however, far too basic of course. In this thread, we will discuss which aspects of MOM, HOMM, AOW, as well as new concepts you guys

I think this idea has merit. Right now, it's kind of just waiting for your kid to show up in the city unit list, which seems pretty detached. It would be nice to have a couple "choices" with either explicitly spelled out results, or something hidden under the covers, but either way, it ends up in the Bio/description for the unit. If the final choice could be when the child is mature enough to take part in the adventuring with some kind of not

While it wasn't a great game... I always loved the intro to Interstate '76 (yeah, I own it) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3JCGZFQZkdc But Mechwarrior 2 was probably the best

I pre-ordered this at the same time that I pre-ordered Demi-God (read: quite some time ago). But I don't see anywhere in my account settings or anything that it acknowledges my pre-order. Is there a way to see that information? Or is it just one of those situations where I should take it on faith that somewhere the computers remember?
