I have the same problem. I also notice that nay unit that has maul, mine included, does the same thing. They make an attack, then sit there for a minute or two, then I get the big "maul" notice and another big pause. I now just scrap mauling weapons out of frustration and use up mana killing bears before they can melee. Not sure why the same thing happens with Forsaken Martyr. I can't remember that unit having a maul attack, but then again, I usually go do so

I tried Morklebs' solution, but it didn't work for me. However, the CTRL+TAB solution of Fistalis worked like a charm. Thanks again!
Thank you Fistalis, you have saved me! You are now my official hero. Much karma to you!
Still getting the same error with .85. Very frustrating!
Ok, still having the same problem with .85. I completely uninstalled and did a fresh install of the new beta and I still get the "Login Failed. You may have missing or stale registry data. Try running Fallen Enchantress with the command line parameters / username "myusername" and / password "mypassword" (replacing the values in quotes with your actual username and password)." I've tried that, and still get the same message about the name in the target box not being val
I had the same issue and tried the fix, but I keep getting the message "The name 'C:Program files blah blah blah' specified in the Target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct." Any brilliant suggestions as to what I'm missing? I'm sure it's something incredibly basic that will result in a facepalm.
Still getting this problem. Running as administrator doesn't help. Uninstalled and re-installed, and still no luck.
I finally managed to uninstall and reinstall the game, but I'm still getting this error. Running as administrator doesn't help.
Had the same issue and I tried uninstalling (to latter reinstall) and got a "fatal systems error" message in in the process. Even restoring didn't help. Now I'm stuck in a recursive loop where I can't even uninstall the game and it won't run. I think I'm out until they get this thing fixed.
I've encountered the same problem and noted another issue with the quest. If you do recruit Daxus (which you can do many times) he is useless. He has no weapons or armor, so he can't ever do any damage, and he can't be equipped with anything.
