I'm not sure where they're pulling that Stargate Invasion description from. If you happen to know, let me know and I'll update it. But it's not our normal description and I don't see it on our page.

Is there an option in ResearchPrerequisite that would disable the auto arrow? Is there an option or way to default any unknown arrowType to a brush to avoid error? Is there any way to add additional arrowTypes? Need some help - I have several research items which I want to have prerequisites, but the items are not within reach of the arrow types available and I'm not able to reorganize it where it would work well. I've tried to add entri
I didn't see this in the changelog, but big bug I ran into was with the Vasari. The Starbase mobilization doesn't work. [e digicons]X([/e] Spent a ton of time and research on it and they wouldn't move out of their system. Ended up quitting the game, since that was a big part of my strategy for that game.
How do you run the dev exe? I just launch via Steam... how do I run the dev version?
Every time I've played the latest beta we desync. We'll spend an hour playing to realize we're not playing the same game anymore. Please please fix this! We'll both follow the directions for submitting desync issues to help this out.
So played the Advent Loyalists last night. Here are some thoughts. 1) When the Titan takes over a planet via mind control, I would think the population would stay. Having the population drop to 0 makes no sense unless you're taking over Gaia and wiping out the people. It also seems odd that you would have to rebuild the infrastructure, but perhaps this is Advent infrastructure... Anyway, seems odd that you would control a planet,
I've had this happen at least 4 times in the beta to include the latest update tonight with the Advents. My friend and I will start playing a LAN game only to find out an hour into the game that we're playing different games. I'm not sure how the heck it's happening as some things are similar, but it is a tell tale when I don't see him expand past his home planet (we're allies) and likewise. I've played two hours like this before without realizing
Crazy, couldn't retreat fast enough before I was wiped out. The game was pretty much over anyway as we were playing a capture the planet victory condition, but I couldn't believe the power of those bombers. Stardock described the Titan as being only rivaled by another Titan, or a massive fleet and a Starbase or something, not a bunch of little bombers. You'd think they would just be like little nats that are barely able to penetrate. It's like Star Wars
I had a level 8 Loyalist Titan with all the defensive goodies it could muster - near indestructible, even to the Rebel Titan. I took this Titan and 11 Capital ships along with 30 flank frigates and got my ass handed to me quick and fast by 100 Rebel Bombers. Wiped out my Titan in about two minutes.
There is a problem with the King of the Hill capture planet victory condition for Rebels. If the rebels have befriended the neutrals, they can't capture the planet. This needs to be fixed so that the neutrals in this system can not be friends.
The pacts between Rebels and Loyalists need to be different.
There is a line visible on the Black Market screen that probably shouldn't be there. It does not appear in the other screens.
I created about 150 corvettes thinking the swarm effect would work well against 20 ships... wrong. Fighters would have worked much better. The corvettes dropped like flies. They need to be a bit stronger to be useful.
The ability to friend the neutrals is way too easy/useful. Friend the neutrals and send out colony ships in masses. You can own the entire galaxy in minutes with built in defenses (the neutrals) defending your planets. Something has to be adjusted with this.
Anyone have any counter to the Novalith prototype? What if a player drills down this track fast, half way through the game they have five cannons blasting planets off the map. How can you fight this in a single star map? In my last game, my game partner (thankful for me) had 8 Novalith cannons. No one stood a chance. His edge fleet was decent enough to hold off the invading forces.
Just wondering what the purpose is with Sins checksum including graphic files... I can understand the gameplay, don't want people to have different gameplay online/lan but why check the textures, particles, and mesh? What does it matter if I have cool graphics from Bailknights graphic Mod and my opponent doesn't? Could this be addressed? If it doesn't change gameplay, it shouldn't matter. :(
I know in Windowblinds 4.x you could skin the cmd window. I can't find this option in WB5 - is this available? How can I skin the command window. While I'm asking, I'd also like to have the command window semi-transparent via WindowsFX but I can't seem to get it to work by specifying cmd.exe. Thanks, Morphh
I'd like to set my command window so that is semi-transparent like I can in Linux and Mac. However, when I specify WindowFX per application setting to cmd.exe, it doesn't do anything. How can this be done? Also, while I'm posting - I can't get the command window skinned in Windowblinds. I know if 4.x this was an option - what gives? Thanks Morphh
Running Windows XP on IBM T23 laptop with 1Gig of Memory. When I move the mouse around, CursorXP 1.31 goes to about 80% cpu. Just moving the mouse around. If I reboot, it behaves normally for a while. I may be related to suspending the laptop. I've even disabled CursorXP and then Reenabled it. I have to reboot to get it to act normal again. If I disable CursorXP, I do not have any CPU problems. Help - I really like Cursor XP. - m
Per this Microsoft article and testing, Windowblinds does not work with Information Rights Managment. Is this something that will be fixed in the next version or is there a work around? Thanks, ::Morphh::
Can't seem to watch my thread...
