Has anyone else noticed all of the attention that Konfabulator is getting? People are acting like this app is the first of it's kind. It seems to be kind of a slap in the face to Stardock. For instance, in this month's PC Magazine, John C. Dvorak talks about Konfabulator in his "Inside Track" column. He calls it "another Macintosh edge." He goes on to say that he sees no reason except for MS licensing restrictions that you can't drop an interface like this on XP. When reading articles usin

Wow, this sounds like one more step in making the skinning process seamless. I can never stand having things come up and then get skinned. If you'll be able to boot up with everything already skinned that's really great.

I was going to post on the article about legacy Windows support on the main page but there were so many posts already. I kind of wanted to add my two cents on the whole skinning older versions of Windows debate. I purchased WindowsBlinds 2.x when I was running 98SE. It worked great for me. I needed something like that because after using a Mac (not even OSX) in a computer lab I could hardly stand to look at the 98 interface. I tried a bunch of skins, some of which I used for a while but I m

I just got back a little over a week ago. I went on my honeymoon there and loved it. I'm having trouble withdrawing and I'm already thinking about when I can go back. I myself noticed the dedication of the Disney employees and was amazed. Of course, I don't think Disney tolerates any less which is a good thing. It really does make you feel like you're in a different place and really takes you away from your everyday life.

Does anyone know how Chadamus gets the bar with Winamp, Cool Desk, EZ Pop, etc. up at the top of the screenshots of these skins? Is it object bar or hoverdesk or what? Thanks for any info.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any program that will equalize the volume on MP3's or just digital music in general. I just hate making a playlist or burning a cd when due to the way individual albums are mastered, some songs are just set at very different volumes. I know that minidisc recorders will equalize the volume on a mix but does anyone know of any software that will do it? Thanks.

I just downloaded Trillian for the first time today and it seems really great. The only problem is, it seems to be conflicting with WB. The display starts flashing when I try and bring up another window besides the main contact one. When I unload WB it doesn't do that though. Anyone else experiencing these problems?

Yeah, XPCobalt looks really great. I wish that I could use it. I've been a satisfied registered user of WB2.2 until WB3 came out. For some reason, it has given me nothing but trouble. Buttons don't work, it messes up my desktop, everything slows down and more. It's really strange because the previous version of WB runs great. I am using 98 but WB3 is supposed to run on that as well as XP. I was really looking forward to this version because the claims that have been made about it sounded
