On the kingdom info screen you get vital statistics of the other factions without ever having met them. You know there tech levels, their money, resources, who they know, etc. All well and good to have a way to earn that information, but in a strategy game just giving that information out really defeats the purpose of the game. Maybe its not the right thread, but a big issue I have is that the kingdom information screen gives you all the vital information of all the opposing groups even if you haven't met them. Its one thing to incorporate a workable espionage system, even if a relatively basic one (put money into "spies" and info slowly revealed over time like in Galactic Civilizations 1). My problem is with the kingdom report panel. Why is it that you can sift through information on your rivals, seeing all their stats from how much of each type of resource they have, to whom they met, what techs they have etc, without ever having even met them? This ruins the game frankly. You can simply look at the page and have a good idea of whom can do what and you dont have to do anything. If the programing and usability of a complicated espionage system is too hard for the AI to use, the
