Png graphics and Desktop in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

I have noticed that designers are using png extentions for their objects. I use Macromedia Fireworks for my projects and am wondering how the animations are included into the graphics. Are they using html with that or straight images?? Are they layering the the images? or something else?

well im hoping to make it a shade of blue as well.. but, for right now im just working with the graphics i had. which happend to be green. I think it at this point it only took me about thrww days to get it to this point.

I'm currently working on a theme for desktop and i need a wallpaper to go with it. I am using Vortec for now but, I'm hopeing that i can get a wallpaper that will fit with the objects im making. Any idea's or comments???? I'll get a screenshot made to help. Take note that this is my first theme.
