Before going into the linked article, I have seen these Google challengers before. Some of them have nice search engine results. For example, Mooter has a site that uses clustering or topics. I just ran Ad-Aware and Spyware Doctor and it totlly took out Alexa Toobar and wanted to take out Dogpile (but I didn't let it) Well, I actually like Alexa but now I am not to sure. Same with Dogpile. As far as Viewpoint is concered, I am still trying to investigate that. Viewpoint is also the name of a toolbar. I am not sure if Viewpoint and AOL's Viewpoint is the same thing. Anyway, now all the toolbars are messed up and I have to uninstall all of them.
I guess that is why my sisters computer (other than spyware) is running so slow. she has 128 RAM. If she wasn't moving out (she is not taking her computer) I would buy more RAM for her. Guess I'll just buy it for myself. Those things better just pop in or I'll be mad!!!

That is the one I have been looking for. I couldn't come up with the right combination of words to get at it. And looking up Frogboy only gave me a mess load of news article to sort through (and each time missing the article) What I would want is a way to know what the hell all these processes are and if they are legit or not.
While I am into requests because it could give skinners idea on what to make next, I have to admit I have no idea what your asking nor if it is even possible. I would also suggest that you look into the sticky thread on top of the message board about requesting skins.
I think this is so far so good. any suggestions I have are probably already on the schedule for implementation. Like, for example, affiliate refurals for refering people to Stardock products and updatiing the profile page when someone clicks our author name to include going to our sub-site.
I probably won't watch it this week either. I just remembered a few minutes ago.

So if your computer is running slow, what are the processes you can turn off or 'kill' that will, in a way, restart the system? Me, I don't have a top of the line (or even middle of the line) system. After 24 or 48 hours the best thing I have seen to do is reboot (not completly a turn off and leave off). I never understood why keeping your computer on endlessly is so important to anyone. I have not read any evedence either way that turning off your computer is bad or leaving it on is bad. So I guess my question is, why not?
