I only have one. (I know a bunch of blonde jokes!) Stop me if you've heard this one.....;) A pig walked in to a bar, sat down and ordered 3 beers. Drank all in a row. Sat for a moment and went to the bathroom. Came back and sat back down at the bar and ordered three more. Another pig comes in and orders 5 beers and drinks his all in a row , but immediately goes to the bathroom. He also returns to order more beer. A third pig come

The need to belittle someone else to fullfill one's own self, is selfish and disheartening. I have seen it a lot, too. It really is a shame. I find myself not commenting on certain topics, especially if there are bloggers already ensued in slanderous comments. I have noticed, most comments that belittle are typically from the same bloggers. Can't we all just get along?? <img src="../images/smiles/joke.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmi

I had written a similar "I hate the military story" a while back. It's called "no protection in the military"... my story is a little different....I put the URL down if you want to read it... http://1crazylady.joeuser.com/index.asp?AID=9557 One other thing I wanted to add. Have you tried going to you Representative? I have tried that in the past on a smaller type issue, I got what help I needed....to start with. Just a thought. </

I hear what your saying. My hubby is military. Over the past three years I have seen nothing but incompetence. It's a shame, I really believe they see military personel as expenditures. Yes, the pay sucks. But at least it's guaranteed...sort of....and yes, there is the insurance..with the many problems that it creates. The government should pay politicians less and military ENLISTED more. It IS the enlisted that do the brunt of the work.

Wow, I have missed a lot!!! I apologize for my absence. I am glad you liked it > miki! Gerry Atrick (love it) I just want to say, I did not mean > Maybe the Iraqi people should learn a lesson from them > in a bad sense. Maybe I should have explained..... <img src="../images/smiles/joke.gif" border=0

Ugh! Re-runs! Nooooooo! Make it stop! Just for the sake of arguement..... Blogging is a bit different, I don't read blogs to "watch" drama unfold! That IS what reality TV is about right?? .......It's a glorified Soap Opera...w/o the Duh duh duhhhhs.....and

Whatever you do, you need courage. Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising that tempt you to believe your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires some of the same courage that a soldier needs. Peace has its victories, but it takes brave

I am really loving this discussion.... :) Ok, here's my question. Based on what I have read only, Is it possible, that when we are making an emotional based decision, we are doing on more of a subconcious level? I gathered, it is very likely the people being studied, didn't realize they were making an emotionally charged decision.

You guys are the best! Thanks. :) Yes, your right we all get the shaft at some point. I just had to whine a little.... ;) I think, what you did, is great! (and proves a point) the big wigs become so big that they forget it is the people behind the scenes actually running the company! If it weren't for the support staff they wouldn't be there. Anyway, keep up the good work, all of you! (and me!) Call me Crazy. ;)

What does it take to get any attention around my work!? Should I roam around my desk rambling nonsense? It is Admin. Asst. Day! Not one word all day long! I feel so unloved and unappreciated. Pathetic? Probably, but I deserve some recognition. Especially today. I have not heard a thank you or good job.....you suck....anything. Ok done whining now. I a

I am one of the poor souls stuck watching that crap. Waiting for cable to be installed....*sigh. You know what I do? Watch a movie! I pop one in and bypass that crap!! I agree, I don't know what people see in it, at all. My most hated has to be Bachelor/Bachlorette how many rich people do they have to set up before it becomes redundant? Like they don't have enough of a choice already!! LOL Next runner up...definitely Fear factor. Like you said,

I loved that show. It was (again) brilliant. It was different than main stream TV that they try to force on us. Like we can't understand anything remotely complex. I can't believe Fox would give up so quickly. Hell, That 70's show is a big hit, and the basis of it is controversial. ;) Save Wonderfalls! Call me Crazy

Kudos to Spain for catching them, too. But really, in the long run, you don't see it causing problems? Back to Democracy......miki, I see where your at on this. I do. Your right......geesh, did I just type that? Democracy did prevail in Spain. And maybe the Iraqi people should learn a lesson from them. Don't ask me where I went with all the other stuff...you mentioned Spain....I went everywhere else with it....call me craz

LOL. :) Welllll...... Wait..... I wouldn't do that...and you knew that when you asked! Sneaky Sneaky! Lovin it too! :) My hubby is military. That is his job. My kids' job is not to be in a freeway. They didn't "ask" for that. Hubby, on the other hand, did. He knew going in (military) that war was a possiblilty. Is it fair, no. But, I wouldn't want it any other way. I know, by being there he is doing what he is trained to do. Don'

Wow, no need to get testy....just a little passionate maybe... :) I didn't mean to offend..... The people may have "spoken" but is it for the better? When things go wrong, who will they blame? Democracy will work it's magic.....they will vote out who ever it is in office at that time. Democracy is a wonderful thing! I believe in it right along with you BUT sometimes the government has to take certain risks to protect it's people. I woul

I believe in democracy, but I also want to look at the bigger picture. Their government made a promise(of sorts) to send their troops to Iraq. They saw the threat that Suddam held for the world. Most of us never knew how big of a threat Osama was until he terroized our country. I believe the same for the people of Spain. They (citizens) didn't realize how big of a threat Suddam was. Government believed it, they deal with those type of topics everyday.

My Mother in law just passed..Jan.7 04. She was 40. We had "expected" it for over 3 years, but it was still unexpected at the same time. She was gravely ill with Hep. C. Liver tranplant went well and then everything just took a deadly turn. It was an emotional rollercoaster. There were a lot of times we thought she was getting better and then she'd get really bad again. The last year we started to realize that her body was giving up on her. No matter

I think it's wonderful! I think that if I were to.....win the lottery....I would penny pinch. I do it now. I love to be frugal, it's like a game! I would, of course, buy things like a new car and buy a nice castle.....I mean house! Then start saving from there! Yeah right! I'd probably blow it in a couple of months! LOL :) Nice thought though.
