What makes you have to change your pants?

Mmmmmmm........brains

A simple points whoring question that probably won't earn me any points, what scare the piss out of you? Bugs? Monsters under the bed? John Kerry in '08?

For me, it's red paper wasps, and George Romero type zombies.

That girl with the broken neck climbing down the stairs in The Grudge made me jump, but doesn't scare me near as bad as a wasps nest.

If you want to get philisophical or political in your answer that's fine, but I'm looking for primal type fears, here. What turns your hair white and your pants wet?

Oh yeah, and if you don't answer? I'm afraid I might cry...........

Okay...I'll bite.

I'm terrified of a big, scary, former-military dads who has the audacity to think that because their only child comes home from school crying and homesick that I've molested her in some way. Pfffft.

As for animals...I guess I've never really had a good experience on a horse....and I absolutely HATE bees and mice.

Lingering death.. losing my mind... both these scare the shit outta me.

I'm afraid of heights--but only because I don't think I can resist the urge to jump. I think floating through the air would be the ultimate feeling (in more than one way because I can't imagine that I'd be feeling much else after hitting the surface).

just remember shades it's not the jump that kills you, it's the sudden stop.

Needles

I would have said needles as well, except I give blood all the time, so I just hate them, but they dont make me mess my pants.

Glad to join in on your whoring, SPC! ;~D

Can you imagine it; blood doesn't phase me; I've had almost every imaginable ooy, gooy bodily gunk splattered on me; I've been in homes so saturated with cat poop, just thinking of it makes me sneeze. I have seen and experienced Personal Tragedy, Disaster, War and Other Things that Just Plain Suck.. but I cannot stand...

The smell of peas, green beans, or the squeak of styrofoam.

Peas and beans literally make me gag and styrofoam sends debilitating chills through my body!! ;~D

Hitting water at 100 MPH on a motorcycle will make you wanna check your shorts.

I've been okay with horses, it's trying to walk after that sucks.........

losing my mind

Understandable, I've watched two of my grandparents die vegetables, and I'm watching a third go out with Alzheimers.....

I think floating through the air would be the ultimate feeling (in more than one way because I can't imagine that I'd be feeling much else after hitting the surface).

Ah, but what if you survived the fall? There's the rub. It's happened before, falls from buildings, even airplanes, and it's not often pretty. You might consider skydiving or bunji if it's the rush you're after, not the suicidal tendencies. (Plus if you didn't make it, there's always Hamlet's question, of what happens after you die......)

Spiders

My wife too. Is scared of spiders I mean, not that you're scared of my wife...........

Peas and beans literally make me gag and styrofoam sends debilitating chills through my body!!

It's not everybody's primal fear, but I think you've got something.....Perhaps you were scared by a Post Office near a bean field as a child?

Hitting water at 100 MPH on a motorcycle will make you wanna check your shorts

And probably scares the s--t out of the motorcycle.

I am deathly afraid of weeds. Not the drug weed, but as in dandelions. (don't ask )

Definitely not suicidal tendencies--and not really a rush...more of a curiousity. If I get to answer Hamlet's question, I'll be sure to post my experience on JoeUser.

Bridges - I have always been freaked out by them. Especially the huge suspension type ones or little ones that have no guard rails. I am even scared of some piers. I have nightmares about them all the time.

Heights and dogs. But mainly dogs. You just tell me there is a dog even remotely near me, and I will freak out beyond belief.

I am terrified of snakes (I won't even touch a picture of one), having my children near ledges of any sort, MANNEQUINS!!, Halloween masks, and knives. I don't know why.

MANNEQUINS!!,

Did you ever see the old Twilight zone where one woman kept finding herself drawn back to the department store?

She kept going back again and again, and one night she got locked in after hours, only to find out that they were alive, and took turns going out, only she stayed away too long and forgot. Next day, it was somebody else's turn, and she was just another mannequin.

When I was first saw it at about twelve, THAT was scary.

Clowns, I am Terrified by clowns, The only reason I can think of that I'd be afraid of them is because I snuck into the living room to watch whatever my parents were watching when I was like 6 or so and they had Attack of the Killer Klowns on. Stephen Kings It gets me also.

Insects of any kind, and reptiles. I found 6 gardener snakes in my back yard last week and when Midevil on their asses for like half an hour with a shovel, then buried em in the burn pile (little suckers kept moving!)

Skinny bridges, icy bridges, or getting trapped with my kids in any body of water (I have had sooooooo many nightmares about that) and unfreindly ghosts.
