Do you have the latest patch?   Many things have been fixed since version 0.75 (the first beta), and it is preferred that feedback and bug/crash issues be from the current version, which is 0.77 as of the time of this post.  See here.

If you do have the latest patch, please submit your crashlogs, which are saved for virtually all crashes, and can be found in "C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Elemental - Fallen Enchantress".  Note that ProgramData is a hidden folder, so you need to have the option to show hidden files and folders turned on in Windows.

Yes.  One zip should be made for each crash.  It's good also if you can submit a crash bug just after it's made - so you can provide some context for the crash, and this makes it easier for the devs to figure out a good solution.

If you want, you can use the public folder in an app like Dropbox - right-click on the file once uploaded and click "Copy public link" - if you don't want Dropbox running, you can log into the web-site and upload to the public folder and get a public link from there.

An example of some Dropbox links are in this post (made before I realised that 0.77 had come out, ie. (in 0.76) 0.77 came out only a day after 0.76 - wasn't expecting it for two weeks ).

As for how they came about...I'm not sure what turn I'm on. I've been playing for quite a while. Seems it crashed when scrolling across the map a couple times. Not sure if it was a problem with the chasm-looking graphics or land features in that area though.

I did also notice after extended playing, the game hangs after a tactical combat. But that was happening before I upgraded my drivers, dunno if it will happen again.

In one combat, one spellcasting enemy was going to cast a spell, cause I saw the name in the lower left...but they never actually did. So we just stood there staring at each other for a while until I decided to hit auto-resolve to complete it, which worked. I'm sure that's not supposed to happen though.

Theory is that Carrodus' kingdom is getting so big that it's lagging the rest of the game out...he has dozens of cities across the map and crashes most near them.

Other then that...I don't recall. I will post more as I run into the problem to try to help further.

Okay...just turned game on again, sitting outside Carrodus' domain. Went in and he said welcome to Capitar, blah blah blah...that speel. You think he'd be a bit more upset that my unit (which consists of sov and 1 hero but have deadly threat level) was wandering on his land. Anyway, gave me the options to declare war, or leave. Well, I declared war, but it still bumped me outside his borders. So I went back in, and auto-battled some spiders. Then moved one panel so I'm right next to his city, then turn passed and game stopped responding again.

I so wanted to go squish him too

It didn't make a crash report that time though...so I'm not sure what's going on. I would have uploaded it to drop box and submitted it here if it did.

Well...happened again except this time like...colors across the screen tore and didn't create an error file again. I'm at a loss. How do I upload my save file? I don't know if my game is wrecked or if I somehow broke my game file somehow.

Ok, I do have one of those dated for just a little bit ago. Can I use Dropbox to post that as well or do I need to use that other website that they mentioned in the first post?

Ok, the random crashes even happen on different saves...I suppose I'm glad it's not an isolated case with just 1 save file...but that makes it really hard to accomplish much when I can barely play.

Maybe I should re-install...
