Changes

1. Fixes memory issues.

2. In the default formula for calculating the hit point bonus from level and constitution (10 + level * .4 * constitution), made 10 data-driven, can be set with the <GlobalHitPointsBonus> tag in ElementalDefs.xml.

3. Changed the code that takes the A_Influence player ability into account for the max radius and influence power of improvements to not divide the ability value by 100 when adding a radius and power bonus, so that an ability of 1 now means a 1 tile increase in radius, instead of none (since it would be rounded down from .01 to 0).

4. Fixed the Arrogant weakness so it correctly makes recruiting more expensive instead of less expensive.

5. Crash fix.

edit:  BTW, that last patch did wonders for the performance of the game for me.  I am getting a periodic memory error when I have never had one before, ever.  But it has been wonderful, otherwise.

Heavenfall, that is possibly the greatest Internet rage graphic I have seen yet. 

 

I finally saw the OOM crash last night, (way to late to be awake, let along posting).  If you have fixed it already how am I suppose to convince the wife of the critical need for that 4 GIG of RAM to bump me to 12? :grin:

I've been mentioning a few easily fixable faction and sovereign bugs for awhile (see my Sovereign FAQ). What's the best way to bring them to your team's attention? Shall I post the XML changes required to patch said bugs?

derek, you need to hunt up a LOT more of the LOONS you mentioned find them and cage them in the basement and eventually put them to work.

One question- think this might be a minor bug.

 

Wind Shield is avaliable at the  start of the game- shouldn't that be a book of air spell?

Posting about issues in the support forum is the best way.  But I just read your faq so i'll check out the bugs.

Hi Derek,

Can we expect a fix to the CoreUnitStats.xml*/CoreUnitGroupingTypes.xml/CoreUnitQualityTypes.xml trio, or would that require extensive changes to the code ?

 

 

*Some parts of it work, like accuracy, but it's impossible to change base hit points from here anymore.

Oh, if there will be more than just bug fixes, I would like someone to take a look at a saved game error I have been getting. You know, the old Hero costs 48347834732792.343 gildar error. I remember seeing this one a few moths ago and then it was fixed. I'll post some saved game files this morning.
