1.08Bug - LOWER TERRAIN Spell - effect not shown in normal map (not sure if it is still in 1.09)

I have notice that LOWER TERRAIN remove the hills and mountains in cloth map. However when I zoomed in into normal view, the hills and mountains are still there. Although now, the tiles are accessible.

No, the mountains / hills do change.   Zoom in to the 3D map and then watch the spell "in action".

Just like IRL, there is no clear distinction between flat and hill terrain.

in 1.09e at least, when you cast lower land on mountain ranges the cloth map just blanks the tile instead of changing it to a hills icon. 3d view has the correct graphics however.

Just wanted to comment that I'm not sure this has been completely fixed--it displays correctly, but cities don't acknowledge the new terrain level if you've built them before casting the raise/lower spells.

Over a couple games I noticed that if I lowered a hill or mountain that was blocking a city off from building structure, the city still wouldn't be able to construct in that area after the land has been lowered. Usually it works fine if I lower the offending hills or mountains and then settle the outpost, but not always.

Additionally, if I have units too close to land that is being raised or lowered, occasionally one member of a group will disappear, and sometimes it will swallow up goodie huts as well. I've changed the way I play to work around these issues, so I don't have a current save or debug to illustrate it.

...this is in 1.09n Beta.
