Is it fixed?

Is it fixed?

The game caught my eye a while back but when i heard of how bugged it was i decided to wait a while before purchasing it.

So i was just wondering if the bugs have been ironed out enough to make it playable? I loved Sins and was disappointed when i heard about the bugs.

Any points of view would be great and if this is in the wrong forum i apologise!

I would have to agree with onyx_blackbird.  I have a similar setup (Win 7 64 and an ATI graphics card).  I get regular (20 to 30 turns) game lock-ups with out of memory error messages from the operating system (6 Gigs RAM).  Task Manager says anywhere from 1.3 to 1.6 Gigs allocated to Elemental.  Fortunately, it's easy to kill the process from within Task Manager without needing a reboot.

It'll be a great game when its finished. It seems quite stable now BUT:

The AI is terrible. To the extent that you even obliterate it if you play "nice" and try an give it some space. No challenge what so ever. Imagine playing lego on your own. To be fair, there's dragons.

AI almost gave me a challenge when it was putting itself tens of thousands of gold in debt to crank out huge stacks of Scions and Ogres and Demons.

End of Lord's quote

Heh ... my single stone giant could take out a dozen Ogres in a single battle without so much as a scratch.  There's something definitely wrong with that, especially since I've had the stone giant since the first 10 minutes of the game and have never come close to losing him.

Well, I would just hit them with that low level ice spell that keeps them from attacking and use deflect on my units, and you can defeat anything that way if you have the mana, and I hade kids that regened enough magic and had enough base to keep that going a long time.  But they did attack me with groups of Scions and Ogres that each had 900 hp, that took forever to kill, and if a Scion would get that special attack off, it would kill any of my units.
