Quick Questions

Empire/Kingdom Interaction

If I am a Kingdom player and I conquer an empire city, do I gain the use of the Empire buildings in the city?

Is there a quick way to remove Empire buildings from a city (razing)?

Is there a way to raze a city entirely (i have not been able to find a "burn to the ground" button)?

Could there be implemented a succession protocol so that losing your main hero does not end the game?

I shall return with more questions later.

You have to research the ability to raze a city. (no joke)

Also, try pressing X with a city targeted.

Also yes you do gain the use of those buildings unless you destroy them or raze the city itself.

Yes you gain the use of most of the buildings, but some like a Sion Temple are useless to you and can be razed.

The only way to raze a building I've found is to click on the Raze button on the city's build tab, then click on the building you want to raze, then confirm on the popup that yes you want to destroy it.

As said, you can't completely raze a city until you have researched the right tech.

Succession is something that may or may not be implemented many, many patches/updates/expansions from now.

Happy empire building

You can raze a city completely without any tech research at all.  I know there's a tech that supposedly gives the ability but just push X with the city selected and it works from the start.  I've done it to AIs that kept building cities where I don't want a city to be.
