How Do I Upgrade My Army

The best method of doing this is send your solders straight into the heart of an enemy city. Then build modern replacements. :-P

Hmm, doesn't that defeat the purpose of unit experience? I wonder if this feature was omitted by design or by lack of dev time.

Yea, I kind of liked the way Civ4 did it, allowing you to upgarde older units when you recieved new tech. Thus making exp worth something as you progressed.
