[Bug] Long pauses between attacks in tactical battles

Bit of a strange one here. When I fight tactical battles, there seems to be a long delay between the attack starting, and the attack animation and so on actually completing. Oddly it doesn't seem to affect the first attack, only subsequent ones. My computer does not appear to be whirring away so I don't think it's a performance issue (which it really shouldn't be anyway, since this happens even in 1v1).

This bug pretty much prevents me from fighting tactical battles with any more than a couple of units because it just takes FOREVER to get anything done.

Does this happen with any particular units/equipment, or all of them?

Had this too, started in about 1.05 I believe.

However in 1.05 it happened only with sovereign , now with all units.

First I was thinking I am not clicking careful (exactly) enough on the enemy, but later I noticed that it's enough to wait.

It goes like this:

You have action points for several strikes, the first one is OK, enemy strikes back (or not) but for (before) 2nd and others you have to wait loooong time.

May be the problem is in retaliation (enemy unit strikes back) code, or with the code that "selects" my unit again after enemy retaliated.

 

Also I had a feeling if you click on your own other unit (try to select it) the wait is shorter, but this might be self delusion :)

Not THAT longer, I might accept a second or even two, not 5-15.

Also sometimes it happens, sometime - does not.

(But "sometimes" I mean in some tactical combats. Also it not always starts from the start of the combat , but once it starts it happens until the end of the combat, and please note that it happens only when/after stryking, not when moving)

I usually notice it on mounted units, tied to enemy counter-attacks. If I attack on a mount, enemy counter-attacks, then I wait probably around 10 seconds before I can perform an action. If the enemy has no counter-attacks remaining, I can attack normally without the abnormally long pause.

That sounds right for what I run into also.
