Worth $50?
I've played the 1.0 version and its clearly a 20 - 30 game at that level. What about 1.07 is that worth $50?
I have a feeling elemental will fizzle quickly like demigod and in a few months I'll be able to get it for $20

Here, as in the forums? Thought the vote was about 50/50 or so? Will have to check latest stats - but 'almost everyone here' is not disappointed - though many are.
A forum poll hardly represents as a sample of the people who bought the game. It only represents people who bought the game, browse the forums, and decided to take the poll. Statistically speaking it's a horrible way of surveying since it tends to draw only people who feel strongly one way or the other about it, wish to express that view, and use the forums. Given that only a small percentage of people who purchase a game use the forum I take that poll with a HUGE grain of salt.
The poll, however, offers more value and insight than mere speculation and assumption.
I can only speak for myself, but the money i paid for this game was well-spent. If i spent it on movies for instance i'd get far fewer hours of entertainment out of it. The game keeps me occupied several hours a day ever since it came out. That's not to say its flawless of course, i'm looking forward to many improvements, but what's already there is enough to keep me entertained.
I personally like the game. Has some issues, but they'll be fixed soon enough.
IMO it is worth 50$ and getting better every week. I wouldn't be playing so much if it were not.
It has a whole lot more working content than many full price titles. The problem is that people are pissed that it promised a lot ^2 and doesn't deliver that - quite yet. =P
Ditto, I feel utterly cheated and this game for me has ended the love affair with SD. Sins was an excellent game but EWoM just seems to have pushed this Dev house a step too far. Learn to walk before you run would be my advice. I'm out of pocket and wont install this game on my system until probably a year when its finished.
