Nothing yet, from British Columbia.

I guess customs is being REALLY thorough with those boxes.  I want my dragon! grrrr

Still waiting for mine in Manitoba. Though it is an international shipment, if standard post then I imagine 2-3 weeks is about standard. I will probably contact Stardock if it does not show up next week.

Nothing in Ontario, when I asked Sales I was told that it was only shipped on Sep. 2. Due to the long weekend we probably won't see anything until Sep. 7 or 8.

I heard the moose was out sick, so all deliveries in Canada are postponed until next week.

(hmmm... no sick moose digicon?!?!)

@Nick-Danger

What again?! I swear it happens every couple of weeks. I warned them not to switch over from the dog sled... speaking of which nick your avatar looking for a job....

@shafk

Well that would put it at about 3 weeks from release which is completely reasonable for international packages...that is about as long as I had to wait for dominions 3 to cross the border.

Nick, geez, get with the times, we use snowmobiles now.

On a more serious note, not only are the preorders missing here, there is not a boxed edition to be found. I live in Toronto and I've looked around almost every single store that even MIGHT carry PC games, and there was none. And I visited maybe 14 different stores.

Yeah, retail copies in Canada basically don't exist.

Mines not special edition but I did pick up a retail copy at EB games in TO.  It doesn't really matter the games a flop due to crashing.

:rofl:

I'd loan you guys my dog but she's lived too long in the states, and so is too fat&lazy Americanized to do that hard work now.

@AlixeniusTheGreat

"Nick, geez, get with the times, we use snowmobiles now."  My apologies Sir!

Say, if those snowmobiles run on :beer: I just might volunteer my services (the reason I ask is that Iowa turns corn into ethanol to fuel cars, and I figure you folks being smarter might turn wheat into beer to fuel snowmobiles -- and snowmobile drivers!).

Any updates from the Canadians as to their LE orders?  From reading the other threads it seems like it's hit or miss all around the world.

I don't plan to contact sales until the majority of Canadians here say they received their copies, as it's not that big a deal for me.  Still, I'm very surprised as to how long it's taking.  I've ordered things from China with free shipping and they've arrived faster, so I don't think we can blame customs anymore.  I guess Stardock's fulfillment centre has dropped the ball on this one.

Hey, fellow Richmond person!
*high five*

Yeah, slow fulfillment center + border = SERIOUSLY

I know I just got mine a few days ago, and the date stamp shows Stardock sent it IMMEDIATELY. The army prizes I think were sent directly by Stardock, so this was just border slowdown. Combine that with possible fulfillment center issues and we get horrendous wait times.

I'd say hold out, because this might take unnecessarily long.

So yours was an army prize? Has anybody who ordered a shipped box gotten one yet?

I found a single CE boxed copy at EB Games in Ottawa Ontario today, so I snatched it up in a hurry.  Apparently that was the only one they received and the chances of getting another one were very slim.

Reply #23 Top

Nope not here in NB for me either but they did send me an email basically saying it was lost and another one has been shipped this week. Also if two arrive I should keep them both.

Nothing here in Toronto either.  Strange that many Australians got theirs already and we haven't when we are practically next door!  The wait is definitely NOT worth the $20 shipping fee.  Have to ask ..why the hell did Stardock ship them USPS?? (snail mail).  I've ordered other games to be delivered and had them delivered UPS and FedEx and almost 1/3 that charge. ($7.34 for the last one)

Stardock is doing an injustice to their customers sending stuff out at those rates.  Me thinks maybe some of that "supposed delivery fee" is being pocketed by SD to make up for some of their losses when it get's out that the game was sent out so bug filled.

Reply #25 Top

Agreed.  I assumed that the $20 shipping fee was for a delivery service like UPS or FedEx, as from past experiences that price range would indicate that it would have been.  I guess it serves me right for making assumptions.
