Do You people really think it helps in any way turning every thread to pure spam ? Another problem here always the same people allowed to spam threads with absolute nonsense, so the really important posts and problems are easily overread or just buried between absolute crap. Sure we all should have fun, but open Your own thread if You feel You have to make fun of anything.

Same here!   Without out it, the forums would be filled with bitching and moaning... and not much else (these days).

Besides, without a bit of levity and tomfoolery, a dodo would exhibit more life than the forums here some days.

Point 1: Who's spamming? Off-topic is not spam. Two thousand "forums go boom" reports is closer to spam than an occasional joke.

Point 2: Same people?You mean the same people who "reside" here in the forums and offer help and assistance  to any and all who ask for it?

Point 3:  Trying to light things up with a bit of humor doesn't mean anyone takes the forum issues lightly,Not everyone only posts when they want to complain,(often repeatedly, about the same issues.) some actually enjoy coming here.

Point 4. Unless it's posted in "Support" any damn thread I want to post in is "my" thread.

Lastly. It's only a friggin' website over which we have no control, it's not life or death. We all want the same thing, a site to use and enjoy. How we wait for that to happen is up to the individual.

Granted they're not actually actively modering this thread, but most of these rules were broken.

In case you didn't know, moderation does not mean censoring or shutting down a thread. For all we know, this thread has been "moderated". And by that I mean a moderator has followed this thread and found the jokes harmless.

Really folks, the seriousness of these posts never diminish. And forums have been shut down but, only because of negativity of extreme nature.

what it boils down to is...these threads are just conversations between....people.....while there is a main topic....when not much is happening in that department for the time being.....we just wouldn't all stand around mute...would we....if we were at the pub...or the coffee shop...we would discuss other things off the top of our heads....and crack a few jokes.....anything too regimented ends up not a lotta fun...and people disappear...something that's happening far too much around here already.....when things start going BOOM again...I can assure you...this thread will get serious in a mighty big hurry again.....but for me...touch wood....been good the last coupla days....   I'm sure the guys trying to fix the prob...appreciate that we are just chillin'....in between reports....and not all sitting here getting our knickers in a mega twist...
