Elementapedia poll

We have an ongoing discussion about the name of the Elementapedia here: https://forums.elementalgame.com/366351

Some good names have been suggested [..because some people think, that it should be renamed perhaps], so I've created a poll. Note: Perhaps it's pointless, since maybe it won't get changed anyway, but ah well...just vote lads! :P [Personally I got no porblems with the "Elementapedia" name, but a poll like this won't hurt anyone, correct? ;)]

I"m pretty sure elementapedia was just a word Brad used to describe the thing in his post.

we need a larger sample size to statistically control for trolls ...

preferably cold-call houses and businesses, selected at random, during lunchtime (there-fore perhaps less intrusive) ... lets try for a 500 person sample size. :D

I say this because there are 3 votes for Lmnopedia, which makes it currently "tied" in 2nd place.

That's possible, but the voters like it already as I see. :)

I personally dispise it, but I can change it in about five minutes to anything I want, so it doesn't really matter. At this point I'm beginning to think "just pick something and get on with it".

Seems to kind of rip off the civilization series...

Problematically so you might say!

I like the latin touch of Lexicum Elementum or Elemental compendium.

Tome of knowledge is too general.

Elementapedia or Elementalpedia is just too civ4-ish. It should have a name that would create an "Elemental-touch".

Go Compendium Go! :)

I wouldn't mind Lexicum Elementum winning ... tis the pity Elementium is an already taken name, because I rather would think its my favorite. Although Lexicum Elementum is good too. Just don't mix too many consonants or syllables so that it sounds jarbled xD ... surely it can use some flavorful or smaller font in order to fit the space in the UI to make the name (whichever name it will be) look pretty in its place.

Eh...Lexicum Elementum was my suggestion. I am glad that you like it Tasunke. :)

Either way, Elementapedia is the most popular still....but only 58 people voted so far...c'mon people, vote!

Who came up with Elementhesaurus? It sounds like a dinosaur...

Elementapedia sound just OK. Even though it's a long word, it's quite easy to pronounce. Don't forget that people read only a part of the word (most of the time), so if they see some "element" in front and/or "pedia" in the back, they will get it quite fast.
