You're Banned!: The Forum Game
Okay, here's what you do for this game: You have to "ban" the person who posted above you for an outrageous, silly, or funny reason. Got it?

Banned for not finding it.

@scoutdog:
Banned because I can't tell whether to worry more about your indifference to abuse of authority or your (rhetorical) disinterest in romance and associated drama stuff.
But then I still don't get why you regularly type about the fundamental danger presented by our standing military while you ignore the much more immediate dangers to liberty presented by overreaching and/or corrupt cops, local, state, and federal.
Banned for...
I don't to comment in fear of getting raged on.

A good one would have killed you properly.
Banned for succession.
In terms of "liberty," it's debatable. In terms of actual physical damage, there's no contest. I'm not saying that police overreaches aren't a problem, but they just aren't as titanic of one- police forces get payed millions of dollars to arrest, spy on, and pepper-spray a target pool of 400 million people in the name of taking on serious threats to the public safety, and then get excoriated by the press for doing so; the military get payed hundred of billions of dollars to rape, murder, intimidate, rob, and torture a target pool of 7 billion people in the name of taking on nebulous and largely-exaggerated threats to public safety, then get movies made about them by the press.
(And I lump entities like the CIA and Border Patrol in with the military, not law enforcement)
Banned for maybe that was on purpose.

Banned because you need to read Excession, or another of the Culture novels.
Your theories of power are treating the police and military like they were macro-level and quantum-level physics. The situation is probably closer to Newton's gravity vs. Einstein's gravity.

Banned for falling out.
Banned for ducking.
Banned because if you mean ducking the question, I think it's just a slight misunderstanding. I never said that the military was a direct threat to American liberty the way overzealous police are. They rarely harm Americans, and even then it's usually other military who happen to be just a bit too moderate/female/near-the-Mujuhadeen for their own good. The military is more a threat to the lives of foreign nationals and the overall stability of the world which is then let run rampant by complacent and idolizing civilians. The military is less like Big Brother and more like a large corporation with expensive PR and some old friends on the regulatory committees- it's not out to dominate the American people, just to expand itself monetarily and keep prying eyes away from the dead natives. (Note that this metaphor breaks down in that the military is driven less by self-interest then by ideology).
EDIT: And if you meant ducking in some other sense, particularly in the sense of a word that could be changed to ducking if performed with a duck, then just plain banned.
Banned for editing, and for lots of words.
That I may never read.
