Is it possible for a object to have one of either two prerequisites?
So: Field Plate: High quality chain mail, with a few select plates
Prerequiste Masterwork Chainmail OR Light Plate.
Or would two items have to be made (even if cloned), one for prereq: Masterwork chainmail, one for Light plate
