Diarch, load the 1.29 patch which should solve most, if not all, of your problems.  It worked for me.

1.29 made things MUCH worse on my computer.  Everything crashed the game - Loading, saving, starting a new game, ending a turn.  You name it, it crashed it.

I'm going to reinstall fresh from 1.2 with no mods, then go to 1.29 and see if it does the same thing.  If yes, at least I'll have the 1.2 full download on my computer for a resintall

same problem here, don't know about my version but it is the most recent one on steam.

When I press "End turn" the sand-glass comes up, and never goes away. Reloading the savegame doesn't do anything.

When I exit the game it still shows up in the Windows - Task Manager and needs a manual kill.

I have encountered another problem with 1.29 Frog and 1.29 (1.3 beta).  I am well past turn 100, and my saved game seems to load fine.  The problem is that I now get a CTD every time I try to 'end turn.'  I've had 7 straight CTDs and my game seems to be paralyzed.

I guess I have no choice but to wait until 1.3 officially comes out, and then just start a new game.  In the mean time, I've ordered three new games from other companies in case my problem with FE is fatal.

No problems here still and I've been loading and reloading different saves over n over testing it and still no crashes. Must be something on their ends. I'm figuring virus protection programs.
