I do not think that pioneers should be allowed to destroy resources since they have no attack/combat capabilities. In fact, they should not even be present in the tactical combat screen. If they are caught by an enemy unit, they should either be killed, or, taken as slaves.
During tactical combat, champions should be allowed to switch weapons as a half move. Allows for more flexibility during combat.
The Battlecry casting time is too long. Most times, combat is virtually over by the third round, making the spell almost useless.
Drakes are almost too powerful. Their breath weapon should be a cone, originating directly in front of them, damaging all in front of them, even friendly units.
During the tactical combat phase, when a champion wants to use Defend, the screen usually does some strange flashing of color and gameplay is paused.
When you are in a quest, an icon appears to name the quest. You should be able to click on the icon to find out info on that quest, ie, hints, what is left to do, etc. Most quests right now are incomplete, meaning that you can never finish them. The Spider Silk, The Dragon's Eye, and a few others will not let you finish them.
Why have a square based map/board. Why not have a hexagon based grid. This would allow for more fluidity and flexibility during gameplay
Overall, I think this game could be enjoyable. I have played two games, unable to finish either one because of malfunctions, which does defeat the purpose of playing the game if you are unable to finish it. I think there needs to be more done to diplomatic missions, spies, add in some Geomancer spells, like changing hostile terrain into fertile land, etc. Lots of potential, let's see what you can do with it.
