Can anyone find the Post that tells how to hack the .exe with an Hex editor to allow Mem. use above the 2GB limit? I want to give it a shot.

Search is rather weak at the moment.

search for LAA, the post is a few months old, and when used it does allow elemental to run until it has approx 3g-3.2gb ram used before it dumps

and a link to a laa tool is in reply 186 in this thread

Oh, and 1.19C is still leaking memory like a damn sieve.

 

I was able to continue a saved game under 1.19C that would OOM/CTD after 3-4 turns under 1.19B.

 

However, 1.19C crashed with an OOM about an hour or two later. Sigh. EWOM has gone on the shelf until both technical and game design issues get straightened out. ..bruce..
