Looking at the features I'm confused as to what it actually is - it looks more like a rendering suite than a real modeling program that doesn't offer anything free alternatives do (if you have time).
Photoshop (or it's free variant, Gimp) can handle all the textures you'll need, while 3dmax/Maya (blender for the free variant) will do the modeling.
Unless you can edit shaders, you aren't going to manage a much more realistic look in elemental. In short : don't waste your money on the program.
