Apologies if this has been mentioned previously - have had a fairly thorough read though and haven't seen it mentioned yet.
Basically - I have been having fun creating my own world, i.e. new map, new factions and new sovereigns for these factions.
This works brilliantly, until you try to play one of your new sovereign/faction combinations against others. The problem is that the game appears to randomly associate custom sovereigns with custom factions... rather than set sovereign/faction combos used by the standard factions (e.g. Kraxis is always the AI sovereign for the Krax).
In practice, the issue means you can have cases where your angelic sovereign has abandoned his/her people and is actually leading your undead forces of darkness, and your city dwelling scholar has forgone his library to join the jungle barbarians etc. In an extreme case, I actually had clones of the sovereign I was playing oppose me in three of my opponent factions!
So my idea/request is to have the option to advise the game (possibly during faction creation?) which sovereign, if any, is assigned to which sovereign.
Cheers,
Acharnor
