The equip button under the hero portrait is missing in 1.05. Checked a new game and a previous save, both have the problem. Makes it impossible to equip my sovereign.
In case you didn't catch Frogboy, it got moved from the little tiny button on the portrait to the sword-and-shield icon on HP.
You can also get to it by clicking on the symbol, then going to "Equip Unit"
