When I click on my Sovereigns Portrait, doesn't show how much essence I have and the old character screen doesn't seem to be working. The one where it shows more of the stats and such. Any other way to see how much essence I have?
I think Essence is now your "max" mana capacity.
yes but how do you check that? I see no screen in the game to see what my mana is either.
Now that you mention it I can't either - aside from a new level screen anyway. That's sort've a key feature - you'd think it'd be easily accessible.
There is a blue bar to the left on the sovereign's portrait which I believe is a graphical representation of how mana he has available. You would think that if you hovered over this bar it would give you numerical x out of x (current/max) information, but this doesn't seem to be the case.
If you select the sovereign or the magic user, it can be seen near the bottom right, along with his other stats like offensive, defensive and such. Note that if you select an army with him leading, you have to select him again individually.
