samurai160, is this the first time that you've tried the beta or have you been able to successfully run it in the past?
If it's the first time and you are still having trouble, a common problem is if you ordered Elemental under a different e-mail than the one that is associated with your Impulse account, you won't be able to login. You can check this by going to C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Elemental - War of Magic\ImpulseReactor if you're on Vista/Win7 or C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Stardock\Elemental - War of Magic\ImpulseReactor on WinXP and looking for a file that starts with CVPLoginResponse. If there are no XML files there, it couldn't even make the outgoing connection and something is blocking it. If there's a response there, it should give you some kind of error message, probably about not having access. If that's the case, just e-mail support@stardock.com and they'll get your account fixed.
