Iswallie, I've responded to your support ticket and your problem will be taken care of shortly.
The next update will have an updated overlay which should return more helpful error messages. In the meantime, you can check the folders I mentioned above for the log files and look at one of the files whose name starts with CVPLoginResponse.
If you see the message "Sorry but your account does not have access (a valid registration) to this title" it usually means that your Impulse account uses a different e-mail than the one you provided to the Impulse store when purchasing Elemental. Support can take care of this problem quickly, so if you e-mail support@stardock.com, it will expedite things if you paste the error message into the e-mail. Otherwise, they'll just forward them to me and I'll have to tell them to fix it.
