Heya Kp :) . I am still perusing the forums daily, just most of my posting takes place in PCGaming or Off-Topic sections. I still play some GC2 for fun, or at least try to. It's actually difficult not use all that knowledge acquired heh.

We're all cheaters. Twisted this game up into something it was never meant to be eventually sucking the fun out(for me at least). I'm just glad to see there are those, whether it be peeps that came in later, or ones that have been able to keep the fire burning since the beginning still playing and keeping the community going. GC2 is still one of my top three favs ever and should live on.

I had this problem with Logitech's mouse software running. Seems like setting it to universal scroll(what most use it for) makes it stop working in GC2. I just ended up disabling Logitech's crap since the mouse i have now doesn't need the extra buttons mapped.

I'm not sure of the file structure of the Ultimate Edition, but when I installed the DA version of the Hi-Res mod it installed it in a strange spot. I just copied the Mods folder it created back into the Dark Avatar directory and it showed in game then. If your using the TA version you may have to do the same, just put it in the Twilight folder.

Most knew what IW was doing to the PC version of the game before it came out. Buying it just supports them on it. Now the reward for is the described problems and telling IW "Yes, bend me over some more on the next one, I'll buy anything.". The game could be the most fun game you've ever played, but it isn't worth a Superman 64 with the issues described above being the norm.

Mainly been on Spaceforce: Rogue Universe. Took three tries over the course of a year or more but finally got into it. The game got panned for a lot of problems upon release, but is pretty fun patched once you figure everything out by trial and error(lack of info/tutorials another issue). If you want the game badly(or any Steamworks game) and don't want to be a pirate you can always buy the retail box. You get a nice box, Manual , and a shiny coaster. Then simply grab the cracked version of it where you can play singleplayer(and some even MP) without ever installing steam. The Devs/Pub have their sale, you have your game, and no Steam installed. :)

Looks more like they told the respondants to name 100 things in under a minute or something. Hell, Hot water isn't even an invention in my book since it occurs naturally easy enough. I doubt these tablets, at least in their current state are much of a threat to a good ole full OSd desktop. They have instant on because it is only loading a very simple stripped down OS that have very limited usability. They're good for the stuff Frogboy describes, but to be a replacement for a full Win7 desktop(or even laptop) they have a long way to go. Maybe have to wait a few years for realistic cloud computing, then they wouldn't need to be much more than simple terminals.

In several years of playing and modding GC2 I don't remember anyone changing the SBs AOI range. Not saying for sure, but it is likely hardcoded.
