Merry Christmas
werewolf
A very Happy Birthday to you!!
Looks good. DrJBHL have you actually used this tool? Any problems?
https://www.stardock.com/stardockcentral/ That will let you know if you have any updates.
Hi Neil... I have the latest version of Fences and the only thing on your list I have done recently was apply a new theme, but that was yesterday. The only thing on your list I have done today is play solitaire for a bit :) Now that I am aware of this, I will keep an eye on things. It's only happened once, ever. So may just have been some weird glitch.

wow, thanks folks. I don't have IE10. Don't use IE at all, although I did use it yesterday, IE9, to help my Dad troubleshoot a bad add on, so that must be it. Haven't seen it since. Don't know why it waited so long to pop up. But thank you. If it happens again, I'll know what to do. and OMG Wizard that's crazy!
Of course, there is always Start8 :-)

Start8 should be a really big thing. It's a great idea at the perfect time. Congrats!
Quoting Casperrr, reply 12But - yeah, it's odd - the page pops back up to the top after clicking on "Submit" - and does not allow adding comments specifically in the comment sections of the Cursor, Wallpaper, Skins, et. secions - but appears not an issue in the main Forum areas. Well, will post back if I find a solution. That's specifically the effect of a 'blocker' such as 'Do Not Track Plus
Hi werewolf, what I do in my case is drag the recycle bin icon inside a fence, then right click the icon (not the fence) then select exclude icon, after that drag the icon out of the fence.
Hey!! That worked!! Thanks for that.
Am having the same problem after upgrading to newest version. Recycle bin shortcut will not exclude. Have tried putting it inside a fence, excluding that fence, and then dragging out the icon, but no go. Also, there is no right click option to exclude individual icons, only fences. I have emailed support.
I just had to delete the folder the old Fences was in. New update installed correctly. Nothing to see here. Admins please delete. Thanks...and sorry for the trouble
This update required me to uninstall previous versions. Did so using the control panel. Now the Fences install found a really old version of Fences which I cannot uninstall because it does not show up in the control panel app and the Fences uninstall helper .exe needs me to uninstall through Game Stop, which no longer functions. Help [e digicons]:)[/e] It is version 1.1.0.419 I rebooted after uninstalling 2.0 am now
this product should be huge!! a lot of folks really don't like the new UI. Way to get in front of all this.
No joy, unfortunately. The fence, with the file in it, doesn't hide, but as soon as I drag the file out of the fence, the file hides.
Thanks Zubaz, I do NOT have that option checked. The only option checked in that section is the "Enabled" option. AH HA! I just disabled the "Desktop Pages" option and unchecked all the options within that. The problem has been solved. I wouldn't have associated Desktop Pages with my problem, but disabling that has solved that problem. I hope you don't mind that I throw in another issue. I used to be able to right click on a short
I do indeed, however, I closed it and the problem was still in evidence. I then rebooted into a clean environment and the problem persisted. Thanks Redneck Dude.
Hi all, Using Stardock Central to upgrade to the latest version. Everything went well and Fences is working great. Double left click hides and shows the Fences. However, when the fences are hidden, a middle click will un-hide them. A second middle click does nothing. Double left click will then hide fences, but a subsequent middle click un-hides them. Love all the new features!! Thanks, David
rdp2, that just isn't true with this company. Be patient. They WILL get to you and they WILL resolve your issue. These are great folks. Good luck.
i had a problem similar to yours and it turned out to be a codec problem of all things. You could try installing a small, generic, codec package.
I am using the 'personal use' version of Fences 2.00 Beta 1 According to the product page, I should be able to change the opacity and color of the Fences. I can only adjust the opacity. The sliders for the other color options are disabled. Have been using Fences since it first came out. Love it! Thanks.
sorry for the resurrection, but
Or just fix the "Use WindowBlind SkinBeing worked on in between Demigid issues. Hope ot get it released this month. png support isn't likely anytime soon. (but I'm working on it.)
Did "Use WindowBlind Skin" ever get fixed? that quote was from May 09 and it's Dec 09. Just curious.
Nice one RD
