As Space Ace stated above, just delete the following reg key (and reboot). HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} I made a shortcut on my quick launch bar before I did it, and the shortcut behaves just like the "real" recycle bin.

"Thanks for the info. DavidK Only thing though is all my computer hardware is white/beige and the monitor only came in black. Oh well" Sounds like some case modding is in order

You need the "Beatnik" skinable clock to use the skin you downloaded. There is a link to the Beatnik website at the top of the Beatnik skins page.

Emailed to me: The heaviest element known to science was recently discovered by physicists at University of Wisconsin Research Center. The element, entatively named "administratium", has no protons or electrons and thus has an atomic number of 0. However, it does have one neutron, 125 assistant neutrons, 75 vice-neutrons and 11 assistant vice-neutrons. This gives it an atomic mass of 312. These 312 particles are held together in a nucleus by a force that involves the continuous exch

Still fine on Comcast (Huntsville, AL). 128K upstream, and I've tested to 3Mbit down. I worry how Comcast's own network will behave/perform when they get switched over.

"Don't pat those suckers on the back so fast until they release some 3dfx drivers (whom they bought out but will not offer 1 ounce of support for)." Woah....Hold on there cowboy! nVidia did not "buy out" 3dfx. They bought their intellectual property (ideas/patents) i.e. NOT SHIPPED PRODUCTS. nVidia doesn't owe 3dfx users squat. I have 2 V5-5500 now collecting dust in a box somewhere. We are victims of 3dfx's poor business decisions. Get over it and get a GF3...I'll promise you

In a workgroup environment, when one user on a system tries to access another system on the network Windows looks for an access token to authenticate/identify you. If no access token is in effect, The system you are trying to access will try to give you one by using the user information in its own local domain (machine name). Therefore, you will need to create duplicate user accounts on all XP/2000/NT machines. Example: Machine1 is logged in as User1 with no password. User

Thanks, but there is no skins tab. After looking throught the INSTALL.LOG in the WindowBlinds directory, the only thing remotely looking like an error is this: Could not Self-Register: C:\Program Files\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds\wbbasicui.dll Everthing (installs/uninstalls) worked fine through beta 9. This problem only surfaced this morning when I tried to install RC1.

I uninstalled beta 9. Then I installed RC1. After installation of RC1, there are no additional WB buttons on the "Appearance" tab of the Display Properties dialog box. I ran wbconfig and Display Properties pops up...still without the WB buttons/options. WBLOAD.EXE is not running when I check the processes. I've tried various combinations of uninstall/reboot/install/reboot with all my beta builds of WB3. My WindowBlinds no workie now <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smile

Geez! The only thing missing are some f'n flowers I suppose we should burn all the history books because WWII was too hurtful and painful? People were (are?) p1ssed off. Let them vent. Leave it alone. It will die out soon enough. MadIce: I will if this peace-nick(sp?) talk doesn't stop. <

With the exception of Doreen's (well said) post... I think I'm going to be sick! Leave the threads alone. Deal with it. If they gets to nasty or painful for you, stay out of them. Let it iron itself out.

"Brad is the good guy. loc is the bad guy... I wish life was so simple..." I didn't say "good" or "bad". I wrote "correct" and "Dead-Wrong". No, life is not so simple, but this issue is. From both a legal and ethical angle it is quite simple. I actually didn't have a problem with the "nazi"...I couldn’t care less. My problem is with l0c behaving like a "I have a right to everything for nothing" cry-baby. There should be some responsibility for his childish behavior

Stardock/Brad = Correct l0c = Dead Wrong! l0c, do you own the hosting servers? Do you pay for the bandwith? I don't care what your "role" is in the administration/creation of this site (if any), you don't have any rights if you're not footing the bill. Stardock has every right to control what goes on here. Why he deleted the post is not relevant whatsoever. I don't care why he did it. The fact remains he has the right to do what the h3ll he wants. Saying Stardo
