I'm jumping in with my 2 cents. I have a simple philosophy. If you don't like it. Don't do it. Same goes with a lot of other things. If you don't like it....don't watch it, don't listen to it...turn it off, turn the channel. Whatever. What works for you, may not work for someone else. We're all different. We have different needs, wants, desires. Abstinence may sound like a lovely idea. And in a perfect world. It would wo

Glad to know others share my view of the show. I've been watching since the start. I haven't bought the DVD set just yet. But it's on the list. I follow the show on a weekly basis. So I know how it's twisting along. I must say the writers are outstanding. They sure do know how to keep us watching!

Asus. Used to be a great company for making motherboards. Not now. I bought one. And let me tell you. I AM regretting it. Big time. The BIOS keep reseting themselves. And even when I get the configuation for my chip right in the BIOS, it won't keep it. The computer goes off and then comes back on. I don't know what's causing that. Basically. It's been one big headache since I got the thing. And I was really excited. I was goin

Same thing happens here in Upstate NY too. It's warm right now. Will be tomorrow. But, winter doesn't let go that easy. It's gonna drop here too. But oh, how I really want the warm weather to stay. :)

http://www.properpet.com/bark_free.htm It's a simple device. Plug it in. When the dog barks, It emits a noise only the dog can hear. Makes doggie unhappy and doggie learns not to make that noise again. Safe. No collar involved. And there are other sites with the same brand and/or similar products. I need to get one. Soon.

Oh! And there are also battery powered ones. Since most of these devices only work for 25 to 50 feet. You could get the batter powered one and put it really close to the property line of the offending dog. Make sure that he's getting the message.

Me? I'm Sagittarius. I seem to attract a lot of Virgos. And Sags and Virgos are not a good mix for long term. Yeah. I know. Some of your think it's a bunch of hooey. I like it. It's fun for me. What's your sign? Which ones do you attract most?

Admitting you have faults, whether you do it "maturely" or not, is very hard. And also, very admirable. Hardest thing to do is look into that mirror under harsh light. OUCH. Be proud of yourself for attempting to walk that road. And don't beat yourself up too much. It's all part of the crazy journey that is life. Chin up! :)

Actually, it's my friend, Jerry's fault. He was playing this game. Zuma. Looked like fun. So I downloaded it. OOOOOOH! It IS fun. A giant waste of time. But fun. Shockwave has a lot of cool little games. So if you are bored and can't go to the great outdoors. Check it out! Oscar night. I cried with Charlize when she won. She earned that shiny little naked guy! And hey..it's about time the Oscars started paying attention to fantasy

Ok. Well, it's a day later. But hey. I got caught up in socializing. Till 4AM, then I ran errands all day yesterday. Didn't get back to this till now. I guess it's part of the "On demand" world we're starting to live in. We have to do everything. Now. Hope you are all coping better than I. :)

::slight grin:: I was one myself. I can't quite recall anymore. Hardly the point! My mother had to have been a saint. I was hell on wheels when I was a teenager. How she didn't kill me, I don't know. :)

My best friend, Gen. Lives in San Diego. We can spend ooodles of time on the phone. Hours. Don't ask what we talk about. Really don't know sometimes. Just girl stuff. We both have webcams. As I'm typing, I'm listening and occasionally looking at my best friend and her children. My nieces and nephew. We're family. I like it. But of course. Nothing comes simple these days. The sound leaves a lot to be desired. But the point i

I know I used to be one. I don't recall doing some of the things they do now. But then, computers weren't exactly a big thing back then. They are far more useable now. The teenager has an annoying habit of coming over to his dad's when no one is home. I know he was here last night, cause my office was moved around. GRRRRRRRR Do not mess with my desk!!! So now, I have to set a password on my computer all week. This
