i would really love to play strategy games online but for some dumb reason developers still believe ppl want to play single player with dumb ais and not with friends or other online gamers
I don't really take issue with anything you said, just pointing out that most TBS fans care less about multiplayer than other features in their games. It has been confirmed time and time again by polls on this very site. My memor

I played through maybe 10 games of Elemental so far (I kind of lost interest, but not hope) and they were all pretty much the same. Having mountains and water in different places is not enough to create a unique feel to each game if everything else is plodding along the same course. (Not hating on the game, I like the game and have bought multiple copies, just want to see it become better) I already know what equipment I want and what to research to get it. I don't need to mix up

Just wanted to say thanks for your continued dedication and the free expansion. I know some people are feeling like you owed it to them, but to me it felt like a gift.

Thanks Stardock crew for your hard work on the patches! You've obviously got your priorities sorted and I can't wait to see what 1.1 holds for us.

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere yet, but I can consistently get a CTD if I stack a bunch of heroes on a tile and then cast "Empower Hero" on that tile a few times. This might just be an extension of the inability to target individual units with spells. Not a huge deal, but just thought it should be known.

Hi guys, love the game, etc. Anyways, I'm getting a pretty unbearable performance issue that I wasn't experiencing before the hotfix. Well, I should clarify and say that it could have been in the 1.05 patch itself because I only played for about 2 hours with that version and may not have done a tactical battle in that time, can't remember. The issue is when it's my sovereign's turn in combat and he makes an attack, there are about 12-15 seconds where the game doesn't

Haha, I too have been trying to make a successful build for a magic user. I've min-maxed all of the relevant stats and took 3 or 4 disabilities to make sure I have every relevant magic bonus you can get while completely disregarding all other aspects of my character. Theoretically it's the most powerful combat spell caster build you can make. In real combat however, he's rather unimpressive, the only useful combat spell is the "melting" one, and I don't exactly have my enemies sh

What's the point of a non aggression pact if you can't use it to guarantee a surprise attack? ;) I think you could balance the abuse of surprise attacks by simply lowering your diplomatic standings with everyone (except maybe the people that like those sort of things) when you do it. How does that sound?

Started a new game and I have 2 obstacles that I'm struggling with: 1. Food. My first game I played as the Paridin or whatever they're called, they had adventure techs that would reveal more resources on the map. My guy also had a spell that would enchant the city to produce +1 food per turn. Food was never a problem with those guys. Now I'm playing as the dark guys with wight population (sorry I forgot the name) and their techs are totally different. I've researched 6 or 7 levels int
