Advice: spend time on your piece. Anything I'm writing about is usually something I've been mulling around for at least a week or so. Try limiting yourself to an article a week. Gmail is sweet. It has a great, fast interface, a lot of neat features, and a ton of storage space (I keep much of my music collection online so that I can download it from anywhere).
